That's very pretty!

Sort of off-topic, but my uncle sent me a card once when he was in prison.  It was hand drawn by a fellow inmate, and it had a little pink bear sitting in the clouds with a rainbow in the background.

Huh!!!!

It made me laugh to think of some tough, tattooed prisioner sitting at a table with his pencil crayons. Drawing pink teddy bears.  And rainbows.

Holy shit the Souls one is amazing!! They all are, but that one especially. [It helps that I adore that band]

Me too, they're my favourite band!

The clocks are incredible, I envy your friends!

I went and changed all the burned out bulbs in my house today so I could try this out.  Now I've got a half dozen bulbs drying by the sink!   Grin  I'm so excited to wire them together and show them off!

Thank you thank you thank you for your awesome tute!

608  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: X-RATED CROCHET....Danger Phallus's ahead...{Now with pattern} Ornament Added! on: February 14, 2006 02:48:28 PM
I crocheted a bunch of these, filled em up with wrapped chocolates, and gave them out as valentines this year.

Some of the reactions I got were pretty fabulous.   Grin

Thanks so much for posting your pattern!

610  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: Starburst Bracelet on: February 12, 2006 12:27:16 AM
This makes me feel nostalgic!  When I was in high school (waaaay back in the day) I was showing a friend how to make these chains.  She was talking about making a hat, and I sarcastically suggested making her grad dress.  She showed up at school the next day with a case of them.  The entire senior class helped out by contributing wrappers, and the Starburst company sent us a bunch of rolls of uncut wrappers.

The final thing had I think 17,000 wrappers and weighted about 15 kg.

Here it is, almost 10 years later and I STILL can't eat Starbursts without feeling sick!  Grin
