Oh wow!  I got my Thank You package from ruwena and let me say...it is totally awesome!  Even my mom thought it was way cool (okay, so my dad didn't "get it" but we don't listen to him anyway).  Thank you soooo much ruwena, it is totally awesome, love the colour, and I can't wait to show it off *grin*

Behold the cool shirt:

If you put it up to a mirrow it says "hate"....isn't that wicked cool!?

Pinkmafia, your daughter is way too cute!

14  Re: FOC swap 2 reveal! in The Swap Gallery by Listener15 on: May 25, 2006 11:22:47 PM
Got my reveal package! Yay!  So a recap on what I got...

First Send Out:

A GREAT crochet hook holder...Love the fabric.

A Pencil/Pen holder that is currently living in my backpack (and holding up swimmingly)

Second Send Out:

I love this shirt. I seriously do.  Wore it to school and got a few laughs from my friends.  Grin

I am a Crackster now!  Ignore the high look I  have...this pic was taken after a very long day and way past midnight, be surprised I was even upright and not passed out on the couch...

Heh, my craftisha.  It sleeps on my dresser and when I need her she's next to me while I'm crafting.

Third Send Out:

I still am excited about this one.  I haven't gotten to try anything yet because of work, school ending, going to Disnyland tomorrow (yes, be jealous bwahaha!), and my swap addiction (how do you guys stand it!).  As soon as I send out my thank you to my FOC I'm gonna break this puppy out!

Fourth Send Out:

So I was driving my poor FOC up the wall with trying to figure out my last two send out...I seriously thought I would be really easy since I go bonkers for a lot of things lol.  So she finally just PMed me and said "WHAT DO YOU WANT!?" (I swear I could feel her hands going for around my neck *sheepish look*)  So I told her that I would love some sewing supplies because I had just recently messed with a pair of pants and didn't even own the thread I used (thanks mom!) so she sent me a beginners kit.  (Pants are here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=97608.0 )

So who was my wonderful FOC?

It was....

Our very own swap organizer extradinar hertigger!

Thank you SO much for everything! I truely love it all.  The shirts rock (in fact they inspired me to try stenciling too), the pencil/pen case I don't know how I can do without now, the sculpty is just way too cool, and look! I got another project and my own thread ....my mom says thank you for that by the way  Grin

You really have been a great swap partner and thank you again *off to make Nessa something*

16  Slightly Modified Pants in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Listener15 on: May 25, 2006 10:39:06 PM
Okay, so this is the first time I've posted a project I've done here on craftster (which is weird that I'm doing it under this section considering I see myself as a crocheter lol) so please bear with me if I do something wrong.

So my mom gave me a pair of jeans she no longer fit into.  Yay free jeans!  Boo they are tapered!  So instead of bribing my mom to convert them into shorts for me as usual, I thought I would try to modify the bottom so it was no longer tapered...if it failed they were gonna be made into shorts anyway.  Now please remember this is my first sewing project since I was in 2nd grade and I'm 24 now.

Pic Two:

I am actually very proud of myself with this  Smiley  I was scared witless trying  Cheesy

Thanks for viewing!

I recieved today! Can I take a moment to say that my secrect FOC ROCKS!!!!!  I am totally in love with the stuff she sent!

First there's this little craftisha...

The scroll she's carrying says:
Hello- My name is Craftisha.
I am here for you whenever
You need inspiration for
Crafting.  I come with a pretty
Apron to hold some supplies,
The "crackster relif pills" for
When you can't get over your
Crackster relief, some crochet
Needles, (sorry about my crochet
Job, I'm just learning, as you can
Tell I'm trying to crochet with
Ribbon, oops, he he), some fabric
Fro all yoru sewing needs, some
Paper for scrapbooking, a drawstring
Pouch with marbles for marble
Magnents and a feather ( I didn't
Take it off a bird, I swear.)  I hope
That I can help you for inspiration
With whatever you may do in the
Future.

Isn't she cool?  She's gonna go right on my dresser (when I dig it out from under all the crap I have put on there...hellllloooo oo spring cleaning!)

Excuse the dorky look on these next couple of pics, it was 12:30am when my mom finally came home and could take the pics for me (dang I'm tired).

I've got a Crackster t-shirt! Weeeee!!!!! *much joy!*  I can't wait to wear this to my criminal justice classes hehehe.

Oh look I got a gal on my chest hehe

And the back of my shirt! Have I mentioned how awesome my secret FOC partner is? She totally rocks and I can't wait to wear this shirt too...okay, so I'm wearing it while I'm typing here but I meant out and about (no pun intended, it's to late in the night to be making bad puns heh).

I can't wait to find out who is wonderful FOC is so I can bow down at her feet.  I LOVE my shirts and my Craftisha!

Here we go! I recieved from my partner yesterday (it seems that giving my mail to me isn't important to other members of my family blah) and I LOVE what I got!

I got a case for my crochet hooks!  This fabric is wonderful...it reminds me of Napa (I always love going up to there). It was from my wishlist.

Here it is all rolled out.

Now it's filled with my hooks and stuff! Hehe!

This was also from my wishlist.  A pen/pencile pouch! Woohoo!  Now I don't have to use an old eye glass case.  It's made of the same fabric...it maches! My socks don't even always match.

My pens and penciles fit wonderfully...watch out school, I'm finally prepared  Cool

Whoever my partner is I love what you sent me!

20  Re: What are you listening to whilst crafting CD Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Listener15 on: March 10, 2006 10:31:00 PM
Hehe! I got my package from Sandylin today!

I LOVE the blue with the black! And to think I was looking at small cd binders/holder/wallets/whatever for my car today for when I listen to books on CD from the library...No need to buy one now  Smiley

I was looking at this wondering what Sandy had ment by "illusion knitting" and didn't really get it.  I was checking out my new cd when I noticed that the blue was flat in some areas and realized it made a shape of a K (the beginning letter of my name) and thought cool.  It wasn't until I was eating dinner and turned around for something and spotted my new cd wallet when I saw the black as the K! Then I was amazed and thought it was WICKED cool!  Can you see the K alright in this pic?

CD Song List:

The Idaho Falls
1.  California Day
2.  Dead Horse
3.  Maybe Tonight

The Juleps
4.  Wild Beautiful Thing
5.  Hungover Together

The Silver Jews
6.  I'm Gonna Love The Hell Out Of You
7.  Tennessee

Magnetic Fields
8.  Papa Was A Rodeo
9.  Checken With Its Head Cut Off
10.  Epitaph For My Heart

Mike Doughty
11.  Grey Ghost
12.  Madeline

Pinback
13.  Concrete Seconds
14.  Loro

Belle & Sebastian
15.  Lazy Line Painter Jane
16.  Funny LIttle Frog

Tegan & Sara
17.  Where Does The Good Go?
18.  Speak Slow

20.  Velouria

Let me say one more thing about  my swap partner Sandylin....she has really nice handwriting.  Seriously, it's so easy to read...there is a reason why I tend to type everything.

This has been a GREAT swap experience and I had a great swap partner so thanks Sandy! Grin
