5351  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Personal/Private Swap Gallery - November 2006 on: November 16, 2006 11:10:18 AM
Thanks for all the compliments on my wooden items!  I love cutting and painting but don't seem to find enough time lately.

Has anyone heard from crazy_bc_jen?  I hope all is well.  Maybe someone should pick up with Nov and Decembers blocks if we don't hear something soon?

According to her profile, she hasn't been on Craftster since November 4th.  I PM'd her last week offering to post patterns for November if she was too busy but I haven't heard anything.  Maybe I'll contact the moderator for this section and see what she says.

Okay.. I do live in my own little bubble so I am sure I'm the last one to see this done!

No, Deb, you aren't the last one to see this done - I've never seen it done either!
5354  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: September 2006 Birthday Month Swap Gallery on: November 13, 2006 05:07:43 PM
AliBeachGrl picked to send me some quilt squares and after much trouble, thanks to the post office, they have finally arrived and were definitely worth the wait!

THANKS!!
5355  CRAFTSTER CRAFT CHALLENGES / Craftster Craft Challenge Theme Ideas, Etc. / Re: Moderator Challenge on: November 12, 2006 02:57:04 PM
I like this idea and my suggestion would be that each moderator submit an item for the area they moderate - show us your best project!  Sure they would all be different but that would make voting more fun!
5356  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: One Tiny Thing ? on: November 12, 2006 02:49:38 PM
Looks like most everyone wants to do this after the holiday season - so, I will plan to start this some time in January (the first swap I have organized!)

Be sure to bookmark this thread and I will let you all know once I am ready to start  Grin
5357  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Instant Fabric Swap (Signups Nov. 10-16, Send by Nov. 20) on: November 11, 2006 09:07:35 AM
I'm interested in this swap but have a question - I'm in Canada and I've never heard of flat rate boxes.  What I'm wondering is, how much is the US flat rate to send these boxes?  The price might give me an idea of what size I can send from Canada for a similar cost.

I claim ScotsSkipper402 for some of these items (I'll have to PM her with some questions):

Postage stamps
batik/ikat/exotic fabric
frogs, lizards, buffalo

This is my 3rd claim (1 has been sent)

I'm in Alberta, Canada and this is my list in no particular order:

Tea towels with snowmen, snowflakes, sunflowers or chili peppers on them.

Handmade Christmas tree ornaments (no glass and nothing with santa, please)

A tablecloth (50" x 70") with snowmen, snowflake or leaf material.

Ladies size XL, long sleeve t-shirt (any color but white) with a snowman stencilled on the front.

A pair of knit gloves made with stripes of red, green and yellow
(I have a pair right now that is almost too small and I could send you a picture so you see what I mean)

I'd love a plush teddy bear - around 12" would be great!

A cross stitch picture with tulips or sunflowers on it (medium sized)

Beads (no plastic, please) and anything else related to jewelry making (findings, etc.)

A package from your non-North American country (show we what best represents your country!)

Thanks for all the compliments - you are making me blush (unfortunately the only blushing icon here has a frown and I'm not frowning so you'll just have to use your imagination)
