quenstalof, you only changed the corners but, who cares, it still looks great!  Now you will have a unique square that none of the rest of us have  Grin

rosali, I love the colors in the scarf!!!

Next time tell 'the boy' to look a little more happy when taking his picture (or did you really have to twist his arm to pose?)

Okay- so purrpower sent me this wonderful felt necklace.

Fantastic necklace purrpower!  I'm not huge into jewelry but that's something I would wear  Grin

Ahh, I see. Pre-printed pages, or handwritten?

Both - some people make them for swap partners and they pre-print pages with spaces for all the 'usual' information.  The one I use, I just hand write the information in.

Quick question though, what exactly is a swap journal?Huh

It's a journel for keeping track of the swaps you are in - some have places for the name of the swap, who you are sending to, who you are receiving from, what the sendout dates are, etc.

Oh please don't put shoes on her - it would cover those adorable toenails  Grin

I agree with all the other posts, she doesn't need a shirt!

It's not exactly a quilt project, though- it's just patchwork.

Great job even if you just want to call it patchwork!

The pattern is called brasstown star, and it's from the wonderful Quilter's Cache

I belong to the quilt square craft-a-long and we are making this square this month!  Quilter's Cache is my favorite place to get squares from  Grin  I love the variety of styles and skill levels
5358  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: A couple of quilts on: August 19, 2006 07:04:59 AM
Great job on both!  At this point I'm liking the blue one best but I wish I could see a picture of the whole white one, so we could see the border too.

I love quilts with the 'old fashioned' look to them - they remind me of my growing up days and quilts my Mom had  Grin

That looks great!

Are you going to add anything else to the tree?  (like maybe some lovebirds?)  How are you planning to finish the quilt?

Bobolink received the chalk bag I made for her, and I must say I'm proud since I've never seen one before, let alone make one.  She took it climbing and said that it actually works too!

Great job on the chalk bag, bhean!  We climb (okay, my sons climb and hubby and I do repelling) and are familiar with these bags - good on you for taking on this project without even having seen one!

I think I will have to take it bouldering not top rope climbing though for the pic, cause I'm not confident enough in the view from below of my butt outlined by the harness  Tongue

I totally understand!  The hardest part of putting on the harness is knowing that someone in the group has a camera!
