Wonderful! I love how colorful it is. I made a large granny rectangle once, just for a different look.
(my 4 year old is now "wrapping himself like a burrito" in it)
I thought my 5 year old was the only one that did the "burrito wrap" in my ghans lol
It's doesn't stop the older they get - my 14 yo son still wraps himself up this style while watching tv.
Were all the yarns you used the same texture/weight/brand? Does it matter if it is or not?
DebbieDoo, I've done granny squares with different textures and brands and it's worked out fine. I've never tried different weights but I would only do different weights if I was doing one large granny like this. If you were making a number of small ones to sew together then I wouldn't because if you use a lighter weight, the rows would be smaller and your squares would be different sizes and hard to join together.
