5291  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Hockey quilt! on: May 09, 2006 09:28:35 PM
That's fantastic!  The extra work you put in to it is amazing.

My two teenage sons are hockey fanatics (EDMONTON RULES!!) and they would love this quilt.

5292  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Ongoing wish swap 10! on: May 09, 2006 09:15:06 PM
Please, someone remind me in round 11 that I don't want to make all my claims in the first week!!!!!!!

I'll just hope that some of my parcels arrive fast so I can pick again.

The Karl picture is too much  Grin  If I had had anything in my mouth I, too, would have spit it all over the screen  Shocked

BlooCanoe those quilt squares are fantastic!!    shameless plug - have you seen my list in the 2006 Wishlist May?

I know what you mean about getting tricked into starting something.  A number of years ago I had been resisting learning how to tole paint even though my very good friend was excellent at it and really wanted me to learn.  One evening she invited me and a few other friends over for 'coffee' - well, shortly after we got there, she brought out her pattern books and told us all to pick out a pattern and she was going to teach us to cut out and to paint.  Seems I was the only one who didn't know about this - sneaky her!  But, I've been thankful ever since.
5294  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Amigurumi on Safari! Monkey, elephant, lion and giraffe! on: May 09, 2006 07:32:21 AM
Great job on them all!

That lion doesn't look the least bit ferocious Grin

I keep saying I'm going to make an ami but never seem to get it done - maybe I will just add it to my wish list and hope someone else makes one for me.

How adorable!!!!!

Be careful with him sunning - you don't want to burn his sensitive side  Grin

I love the color!

Monotony is the reason I stick to baby blankets - I can usually handle it that long but if I'm going to make a larger one, it has to be something interesting and fun to make!

Great job Hookin Flamingo!!!!!

I crochet, too, and know it's not always easy making small things.

Great job Anna-begins!  I've been following the other thread (and it even inspired me to buy the book).

Your Big Bird block has been one of my favorites of all them I have seen - I just love how his feather blend so nicely.

Roxy nova, I can't wait to see yours done - you have some wonderful blocks too!
