My fabric choices are three messages up from this one.

Okay, I have everything straightened out and now have this fabric for offer:

1.  Santa on white - cotton - a FQ is what you see or a 1/2 yard is double this

2.  Apples on black - cotton - FQ

3.  Green with blue and pink flowers - cotton - FQ

4.  Cream with blue angels - cotton - FQ

5.  White with black flower outlines - cotton - FQ or 1/2 yard

6.  Christmas designs - cotton - FQ

7.  Tulips and other designs - cotton blend - FQ

8.  Christmas wreaths - cotton - FQ or 1/2 yard

9.  Green with gold flecks (it really is green and not blue) - cotton - FQ

I claim Kristen81 for this:

Yarn from your stash (I'm building one!  I'll take your odds and ends...then neater the better...I love chunky or bright color stuff as well as cream, black and white...whatever really)

This is my 5th claim this month - 3 have been received.

I live in Alberta, Canada.

My list:

Sewing

A large tote bag - with a zipper would be great but not necessary.  Nice and bright!!!!

I'd love a plush teddy bear - around 12" would be great!

A knitting apron like this:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=105539.90 (scroll down page) - different fabric is fine  Grin

A table cloth made with leaf, sunflower or snowflake material, 50" x 70"

Cross-stitch

A teapot picture with the teapot measuring about 3" x 3" and the Aida cloth at least 6" x 6" so I can frame it to match the few others I have.  (I can provide a pattern if you need one)

Crochet

Eeyore, Pooh or Tigger crocheted in thread - I already have Piglet and he's getting lonely for his friends.

Other

This is really out there and I doubt anyone will actually do it but if you want to send me a small, electric chocolate fountain, I would be so happy.

Hot sauce - yes, I know this is another weird item to ask for on a craft group but my hubby collects hot sauces and it would be fun to give him some more.  Most of the bottles he currently has are 5 oz., so a few new ones of that size would be great!

I'd like to claim a 1/2 yard of this from jaybirdiscrafty:

10.  black with white smiles cotton

I was just looking over the fabric I had up for offer and realized that I made a mistake - so I have taken new pictures and am headed to hubby's office right now to fix everything.  My new list will be available shortly.

I was actually able to get some sewing done one evening this week and managed to get both June and July squares done.  I guess I'm in a pink/green stage - I picked the fabrics out for these squares at totally different times not realizing how similar they are.  I didn't put lace on the fan because that's not really my style also, I'm not totally happy with the background fabric so I may change it so the square doesn't look so plain.

bhean fulfilled my wish for a bright colored tote bag with a zipper and it came in the mail earlier this week.  It's a wonderful bag and the workmanship is fantastic!  Notice the craftster symbol on it, well that's a piece of paper in a window pocket.  That pocket is accessible from the inside and I can change the picture if I want to - isn't that a neat idea to put on a bag.  THANKS bhean! I love this bag.  (hmmm, maybe I should have ironed it before taking a picture)

Kittykill picked my wish for oven mitts and they arrived last week.  She said her sewing machine broke down part way through and so she was only able to make one mitt and then purchased the other.  The home made one is the chili pepper one and I love the fabric.  She also included a package of black licorice, yummy!

5150  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: My labor of love, my trial and (mostly) error... on: July 21, 2006 09:02:21 PM
Fantastic job - I love the colors you used.  By hand, that amazes me as I don't have the patience for it.

I made a quilt last year following a pattern (which is rare for me) and it was made up of lots of pinwheels - the creator of the pattern said not to spend too much time rearranging the squares as it's frustrating and no matter how long you spend, you will still not like something when you are finished.  I spent quite a bit of time rearranging mine (didn't listen too well) and when I was done, I found something I would have changed.  But, you know what, no one else noticed - we are our own harshest critics!

Keep up the fantastic work.
