Maybe I'm weird, but for me the experienced square pattern was very easy to read.

Wow, that's amazing - I found it strange in a few places and that's why I put it under experienced.  Good for you though!

5105  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Ongoing Offer What You Have (Crafts/Supplies) Swap - March on: March 15, 2007 10:02:55 AM
I claim caflygrl for:

one skein of Red Heart Kids in lime. This is a big skein, 5 oz  (I love this stuff!!)

This is my 2nd claim (0 sent)

This is what I have:

1)  I received this in another swap but it's chunkier than what I use so I thought I would offer it to someone else.  The yarn is 50% shearling wool and 50% polyacrylic - thanks Sherrie for interpreting this for me!

2)  Medium weight denim - 1 yard

3)  4 pewter Teddy Bear buttons

4)  I purchased this crochet book and never used it so someone else might as well enjoy it.  It's in perfect condition.

5)  A Paradise Doll pattern book.  Crochet.

6)  2 pieces of fabric - the purple on the left is quilting cotton and is 1/2 yard.  The purple fabric on the right is 100% polyester satin velvet print and measures 14" x 44"

7)  2 crochet squares in your choice of color and size, my choice of pattern.

8 )  A quilt square in your choice of color and size, my choice of pattern.

I claim devilninny for:  seed beads and shells

This is my 5th claim (1 in the mail, 2 received, 1 not mailed).  I live in Alberta, Canada

1)  4 ply acrylic yarn (not chunky) in any color but black (I don't mind yarn like super saver)

2)  Fabric carrier for a 9x13 pan with handles

3)  Winnie the Pooh, Tigger or Eeyore crocheted in thread.

4)  Hand towels with toppers that I can hang on my stove.  These could be crocheted, knitted or sewn.

5) A table cloth (50" x 70") in fall color or spring colors - any design is fine as long as it's nice.

6)  This is not at all craft related but I've seen some interesting things people are looking for on Craftster and I'm amazed how many times people can help them - so I figure, why not give it a shot....my oldest son (17) has been collecting Hardy Boy books since he was about 10.  He has found most at garage sales and used book stores.  He has decided he seriously wants to finish his collection and needs the following numbers 17, 20, 21, 22, 27, 30, 32, 33, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 51, 53, 55, 57 and 58.  If you have any of these, he'd be thrilled to get them.

7)  A bag made with measuring tape fabric (like in my wists)

8 )  Anything from my wist list but please PM me and tell me what you are picking so I can remove it - that way I don't get duplicates of items.

the felt fairy, I'm wisting that bird - it's probably an original and no one could remake it but it's still going on my wist list!  It's wonderful!!

I received some beautiful stitch markers from Samsara today.  She also included some yarn but it's not in the picture.

Sorry for the picture quality - they are much better in real life  Grin

5110  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Quilt Challenge #2 "Quilts inspired by Games" on: March 14, 2007 10:43:55 AM
Quote from: TurtleMother2
Ok I am currently piecing together my game inspired quilt block.  I was wondering where I need to place the picture after it is finished for entry into the challenge?  This is the first challenge that I am doing since joining this wonderful place.  Yes I am a newbie!  Please help all you wonderful people. Huh

Look near the top of this page, just above the tab that says "show all images in this topic" and you will see in bold where it says "Quilting Challenge Entries" - click on that and it will take you to where you should start your new post.  Click on the blue New Topic tag (on the upper right) and away you go.  There are no entries there yet so I can see your confusion!
