You really must change the title to - cute and decorative because that's what they are  Grin

I love them stacked up  Grin
4984  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Could you call this a quilt ? Warning- lots of pics ! on: August 15, 2006 06:46:02 AM
I would call it a quilt - you certainly did a lot of sewing together of pieces and that's a large part of quilting!

It looks great - the color combination is wonderful.

athena394, thanks for asking this question!  I had the exact same question, I just didn't get around to asking yet.

strgazr, that's a good tutorial and I'm going to give it serious consideration.

I'll be interested to see if anyone else has ideas or suggestions.
4987  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: A Log Cabin Zig Zag Quilt on: August 14, 2006 07:14:57 AM
Your quilt looks great - I like how you incorporated the zig zag into the log cabin - a new dimension on an old pattern!

Wow, Shocked  I am blown away by your snowman!  He looks wonderful!

Did you use a pattern or make up your own?

Wow, catpants, when I saw the picture you had posted of the blocks I sent you I couldn't figure out how you had gotten ahold of the picture I had taken - then I looked closer and realized it wasn't my hardwood floor they were on, it was yours.  Strange coincidence that we both took pictures against a similar hardwood floor  Grin
4990  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: Our very first stenciled shirt on: August 11, 2006 01:30:45 PM
Just a quick update on this shirt (in case anyone is interested.)  We were very concerned with how hard the paint was and whether it would wear well but I have now washed it and hung it to dry 3 times and also accidentally machine dried it once and it's amazing but the paint is still intact and not all that hard anymore.

Thanks again to everyone who PM'd me advise on how to do the next shirt better  Grin
