Homerof2, each reply messages have a #. If you click on the title "Re: Ongoing Wish Swap Round 19 Gallery" that has the reply with the picture of the measuring tape tote bag, you will see that the "url" changes. Once you have done that, you can click the add to wists button. This especially help when you want to wists more than one image from the same page. Did that make any sense?!

It did make sense and it worked!  Thanks groschveux.

P.P.S. - a question i just thought of.  i'm the last person on the list, so that means i keep envelope 1 for myself, and then send envelope 2 to the person at the top of the list, #3 to the next person, etc. right?

That's the way I figure it too so we must be right!

I love that measure tape bag and so want to wist it but can't because I'm having trouble with wisting - anyone want to help me, I'm new to wisting.

I click on my Add to Wist link, then when all the pictures open, I click on the one I want and it says I've added to my wist but when I look at my wists, the wrong pictures is showing, however, when you click on the picture, it brings up the correct one.  What am I doing wrong? (If this doesn't make sense, click on my wist link and you will see what I mean)

Must tell the story behind this quilt before I post pictures.

About the time I joined Craftster in January, 2006, I decided I wanted to make a queen sized quilt for our bedroom.  Being that it's purple and yellow/gold, I decided that the quilt had to be those colors also.  I wasn't sure how I was ever going to pay for this since I was sure it would take lots of funds.  I knew what pattern I wanted to use so it was just a matter of deciding on fabric.  Well, it wasn't long after starting on Craftster that I discovered swapping and fabric swapping at that!  I had quite a bit of fabric I had inherited from my aunt and decided that I was going to swap it to get the fabric for my quilt.  So the process began.  I joined fabric swaps and soon discovered ongoing swaps and made collecting yellow and purple fabric my 'obsession.'  It was funny but word seemed to spread that I was looking for these colors because soon people started to PM me and offer purple and yellow fabric that they had and I noticed more and more of these colors showing up in the fabric swaps  Grin

I had a blast over about 5 months collecting my fabric and I'm happy to say that I have a very international quilt!

In the end, I used 21 different yellows and 23 different purples.

I decided that I would save all the names of people who had sent me fabric and I want to say a HUGE thanks to:

fadeawaydream       kaesea                 mata
simplyfussfree         sunshyndzyne       sonjaboo
ilovepaper              sewcrafty             superstitch

Now, on to the pictures!

This is the quilt pieced together and laying on my living room floor just before I started pinning it:

A close-up of one corner so you can see more detail:

The sewing process - not an easy thing on a regular sewing machine! and not easy taking a picture of myself sitting in the chair!

and, finally, on my bed (the colors are more true in the top photo - today was bright and sunny and it washed the color out some)

This is the first queen sized quilt I have ever made and will probably be the last - I think I'll stick to baby sized ones but I'm sure glad I did make this one  Grin
