Oh, I love the road kill turtle!  Especially the tire mark!

I'm on dial up so it takes awhile to get pictures so I usually read through what everyone writes about the picture while it's loading.  When I saw that a road kill tissue holder was coming, I had visions I can't describe running through my head of what I was about to see.  We don't have turtles here in Canada so I've never seen a road kill one - if they were that cute, I could handle it 

Great little pots and wonderful frogs in them!  Although I feel sorry for the one without legs (poor little guy), I like the legged one best!

I know what you mean about getting tricked into starting something.  A number of years ago I had been resisting learning how to tole paint even though my very good friend was excellent at it and really wanted me to learn.  One evening she invited me and a few other friends over for 'coffee' - well, shortly after we got there, she brought out her pattern books and told us all to pick out a pattern and she was going to teach us to cut out and to paint.  Seems I was the only one who didn't know about this - sneaky her!  But, I've been thankful ever since.

Monotony is the reason I stick to baby blankets - I can usually handle it that long but if I'm going to make a larger one, it has to be something interesting and fun to make!
