1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Magknits patterns on: May 09, 2008 07:54:16 AM
It looks like some of the Magknits patterns can be found here - http://www.knotionsmag.com/patterns.aspx - and that they'll be putting more of them up.

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Paton's Classic Merino Color? on: December 12, 2006 11:21:15 AM
I took advantage of Joann's sale on CM to buy some and it arrived, only the color is not what I thought it would be. I chose dark Olive and boy is it dark! It's kind of a brownish green and I'm wanting a Moss Green type color. The Bernat Softee Chunky in med Sea Green is more like the color I want (though on my monitor it doesn't really look like it does in the store). http://www.bernat.com/product.php?LGC=softeechunky&SPP=999&PHPSESSID=2cfd98e058276b06d48bee135cc44ad7 I'm wondering what Paton's color comes closest to that. The Sage green looks sorta light, and the Bottle green much too dark, and I want something in the middle. I thought maybe someone might know. The CM colors at Joann are here - http://joann.com/catalog.jhtml;$sessionid$PFFP0PQAAA4HCP4SY5NBIHR50LD3OEPO?CATID=88320&PRODID=85778

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Pyramid Sweater on: July 28, 2006 05:22:27 AM
Anyone know how to get the pattern for this one? It's sold in a kit here
http://www.joslynsfiberfarm.com/pyramid.htm, but I have yarn, I just need the pattern. A search turned up some references to similar ones in VK, but I looked up the issue and it wasn't there, and not in the ones before or after.

6  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Looking for some metric circulars on: March 23, 2006 03:05:37 PM
I'd like to get another, longer pair of 7.5mm circulars, 80-90cm long. If anyone has some they want to sell, or live in Canada and could get some from their LYS and mail them to me, I'd like to talk to you! Email me - qiuser at yahoo dot com if you want to talk.

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Knit n Style pattern help on: February 12, 2006 07:25:09 AM
Has anyone tried the Textured Lace shrug (pp48-49) in the April 2006 issue of Knit n Style? I knit it in scrap yarn and it's just not making sense. I don't see how you get sleeves in it, or understand which is the bottom edge. Never mind where the underarm seam is...
