I received my package from misswendiki this weekend!

sorry this first pic is a little blurry!

They couldn't be more perfect!  I don't even think that she knew that I am an art teacher!

THANKS!

Another progress pic...

I just joined my 3rd skein.  I have a little less than 2" to go before I start the neck shaping.  Its moving faster than I had expected.

heres my progress so far...

Knitpicks Gloss in Woodland Sage on #2 (3mm) Knitpicks circs...I decided to knit the 34...we'll see how that idea works out!  Like someone else already said, I would rather have it a bit snug than too large!

It is going super fast!  I have the back and right front finished...all in one weekend.  I'm using worsted weight, size 8 needles.

I hope some others join this KAL.  I would love to see what everyone else is doing!

6  Re: Magic Yarn Ball Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by craftykt on: September 19, 2006 04:34:08 PM
sorry I've been slow!  Here are pics from what thevampirehanna sent me:

The yarn is Silky tweed in a very pretty orangy color with pinks and browns.  She included a cool lipstick pen, a cupcake pincushion, some domino magnets, a bunch of neat stitchmarkers, a carrot pin, a tiny knit pin and one of those cool expandable washcloths.

The pattern is for a lacey scarf!  I have to finish a few other things before I start, but I am excited!

Thanks Hanna!

it was hard to get the photo to show to great colors!  It has glass, wood and ceramic beads along with some silver, lapis and jade.  All my favorite colors.  I love it!

she did an awesome job!

thanks mpicky!

I did mine with simply soft also...It is ridiculously soft and I love the fact that I can throw it in the washer and dryer.  I will use it much more knowing that I don't have to worry about hurting my expensive yarn!:
