1  UNITED STATES / Minnesota / Re: Sort of disappointed with No-Coast Craft show on: January 09, 2007 05:23:16 PM
I know this event was a while ago but I attended No-Coast at MGM and I liked the location.  I found the maps very helpful.  I know someone who was a vendor and she said she did well.
I thought there was a decent variety and the fair seemed to be buzzing when I got there late afternoon on Saturday.  I picked up quite a few gifts for people.
I only wish I had had more time so spend shopping at the fair.  I had about an hour to shop and get dinner at the MGM but I felt like that wasn't enough time to really see all there was to see.

I'm so excited.  I get to support crafty people and I don't even have to leave my neighborhood.
3  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: My Fit to be Tied on: July 03, 2006 06:49:38 PM
Thanks, it is my 3rd project from the book.  I just took it and showed it off at work and everyone liked it.

I just finished Fit to be tied.  I made it out of some yarn I found in a box at my mom's house.  I think the yarn is from the 80's but I wanted to see what I could do with it.

I haven't lined it yet because I haven't decided on what to use.

PeppermintSoda- Welcome to Etsy.  You have a nice shop with cute items.

dutchclassic-Your pendants are beautiful.  I like the pink butterfly one.  I think your prices seem reasonable.  If you are worried about underpricing I think you should take the cost of materials and then the time it took to make and figure out your price from there.

jeweledmonkey-  That sucks about getting negative feedback.  I think they should have at least contacted you first to let you know that there was a problem and give you a chance to do something.
I think that people will still look and see that you have mostly positive responses.  I think people for the most part are willng to understand one negative if they see that you have a lot of positives.

That little octapus is the cutest thing ever.    I like that his legs are poseable and that he is concerned about sun protection.

You know when I think about it...I did post all my shoulder bags at once with the same price and the one you asked about is definitely smaller, I didn't even think about it so I should change it.

Speaking of prices...what do you think of my prices are they reasonable?

I think your prices are reasonable.  I think that if you are charging for them what is fair for the cost of material andthe time you spent on them then you are charging the right amount.
