11  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / Re-Upholstered High Heels??? on: February 22, 2006 07:22:26 AM
Hi, I hope this is where this topic goes, but I have a question.  I saw a pair of great shoes in the March magazine of Lucky, they were a pair of peek-a-boo toes high heel shoes.  And they had this awesome african/tribal print on them.  I got to thinking is it possible to kind of re-upholster (?) with a type of fabric glue.  That will possible stick to leather or another type of fabric.  My idea is put the glue on the shoe then lay the fabric on the shoe then use maybe an exact-o knife to cut off the excess fabric.  Please tell me if this not remotely possbile.  Thanks in advance
12  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Does anyone have a Husqvarna 224? on: January 20, 2006 07:27:21 AM
Hi Everyone!! I'm new to this website and to sewing, I don't have my machine yet, end of the month but I'm currently looking at Husqvarna Huskystar line a co-worker has one and she swears by it.  I went on the website and saw the Huskystar 224.  Does anyone have that model and what do you like and don't like about this machine.  Thanks in advance
