I made this simple PJ bottoms for a few friends for Christmas using a Simplicity pattern.

The polka dot ones are my favorite.
It's amazing how grateful people who don't sew are for even the easiest gifts!  Cheesy
Happy Holidays everyone!

22  Re: Largest Craftster ATC swap GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by bonbonz101 on: December 17, 2006 03:18:00 PM
I'm not sure the one I received was ever posted (and considering there's 60+ pages of posts and I'm feeling a bit lazy to look  Tongue) here's the one I received quite a while ago..

It was created by my fabulous partner, millik, and covered in fabric with a sweet little birdy hand-stiched near the top. Sewing is my favorite craft Smiley

23  Five New Purses! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by bonbonz101 on: November 28, 2006 02:11:48 PM
Hey everyone Smiley

Here are a few purses I've made for a mini-craft fair this week.

This one was made with pink fabric and denim lining...my said says it's too summerish though, and probably won't sell now.

I made this one with an old sweater! Original plans had been to felt it, but it wasn't made of 100% wool and I wasn't sure it'd work. There is a button closure, and light blue lining.

I got this ice cream fabric from JoAnns (and also got some from a swap as well!) and absolutely adore it! I'm hoping no one buys it because.. I sort of want to keep it.  Roll Eyes

These are both just simple totes. I plan on making a few more of these since they're so simple!

I hope you like them!

Sent out today, AND received my package from ooak_diva!

Here are all of the wonderful goodies she sent! They include: a stenciled snowflake tote, lovely crocheted belt, pendant in fall colors, and a holiday memory wire bracelet with little charms!

And here's a closeup of the jewelry (her obvious specialty  Wink)

Now, where is everyone else's swap packages?! I want to see them Smiley

26  Retro Wrap Dress! (My first dress!) in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by bonbonz101 on: August 22, 2006 04:37:29 PM
Hey craftsters!

Back in July, I got a bunch of awesome vintage patterns from a swapper. One that caught my eye was a 1971 wrap dress because it looked so darn cute and easy. Here is a pictures of the pattern:

Anyways, I had gotten the fabric at Walmart quite some time ago for $1 a yard, and found it to be somewhat retro .. perfect for such a pattern! It was a pretty easy sew, especially for my first time, that just included 2 darts, and a bunch of machine stiching. The only thing is that it sort of came out a little too big on the top, and I don't know anything about taking a garment in. Here it is, though!

I would love some feedback!  Smiley

27  Re: Fill A Purse Swap Gallery!!! in The Swap Gallery by bonbonz101 on: August 17, 2006 05:23:58 PM
Weeeee, here are pictures of the quite awesome stuff that kmac sent me!

All of the purses together! From left to right: Gourd purse, large zebra print tote, felted purse, string purse... the only problem is, I have no idea which one to use first! I practically have one for every day of the week  Cheesy

A close up of the detailing on the gourd (this is the back of the purse.. I didn't get a good picture of the front)

kmac even sent me a dollar to start the purse off!

ALL of the loot   Shocked (except for the coasters which I've already used  Roll Eyes) including: tealight candles, candle holder, crane earrings, silly magnets, a finger puppet, a pineapple bracelet, an owl (gourd?) necklace, pencils, a "latte" necklace, lavander body wash, foot roller, hand salve, tin, perfume holder, bubbles, lotion, compact, and a 'transform' pendant.. Whew!

A close up of the beautifully done, crane earrings

kmac, you were such a wonderful swapper and you really did spoil me more than ever! Thank you so much for it all! (All of my friends are jealous of the awesome purses and loot  Cheesy)

30  My first ... pinafore? in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by bonbonz101 on: July 21, 2006 07:58:30 PM
Haha, I guess that's what it's called, huh?! stopthefacades created a GREAT tutorial for her LBP (little black pinafore) and I decided to follow it, and post my results!

It's made out of a jersey knit, patriotic-ish fabric (not my first choice, but was the only kind I had), and parts of a UCONN Basketball tee.

Comments & constructive criticism are greatly appreciated, considering this is one of the first clothing pieces I've sewn! Thanks for looking  Wink
