1  Bright Pink cowl neck in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by bonbonz101 on: August 28, 2007 06:30:57 PM
Hi crafster world! *waves* I haven't posted anything in way too long, and I've been on a bit of a reconstruction bing lately (summer reading ... sewing ... hmmm ... ). Anyways, I made this top tonight in about an hour from an old striped, long sleeve shirt and a hot pink t-shirt. After adding the pink cowl neck, I realized I had a maroon shirt that would've looked a lot better, but oh well.

(with maroon sash)

I'd love some feedback! And make sure to check out my blog Smiley

2  Sapphire Silk-y Dress in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by bonbonz101 on: July 07, 2007 07:10:47 PM
Inspired by this (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=180032.0) tutorial, I went out and bought myself some cheapish dark blue silk imitation fabric during Joann's latest sale.

The fabric itself was a pain, being 100% polyester (oh so hot!) and stringy. I don't know how to combat the unraveling on the inside...I would love some potential solutions.

Also, the arm holes are awkard.. they don't allow me to raise my arms without raising the whole dress. Other than that, I'm loving it Smiley

Comments and advice are always helpful!

3  Re: April Affair (IYP6) Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by bonbonz101 on: April 22, 2007 04:57:48 AM
I was finally able to take some pictures of everything Moonlightbliss33 sent me Smiley

First, a crocheted market bag!

A pair of her famous slippers. They are very cozy.

A fuzzy knit cell phone (I'm guessing?) pouch.

A funky little tote bag. Totally love the fabrics!

My first Rapunzel scarf, in my favorite colors, no less Wink

A matching hat & scarf set in bright, fun colors.

A little crocheted pouch

Beaded bracelet

And finally, another awesome, LARGE, drawclose bag.

Loved it all so much, and the crochet & knitwork still amazes me since I have only completed scarves and hats! Maybe moonlight will be able to post some pictures of what I sent ..  Grin

4  Music Note Wristlet in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by bonbonz101 on: April 02, 2007 05:47:01 PM
I made this one for the crafty detective swap using this (http://blissbyheather.blogspot.com/2007/01/tutorial-super-cute-wristlet.html) tutorial I found online.

It was super easy and I love its simplicity. (Plus, it's the first zippered item I've made that I have been satisfied with!)

Thanks for looking  Kiss

Okay, look at my goodies from Ms.Scarlett (aka miss spoiler of the bonbonz)

Two ATCs, not to mention, her first! Aren't they great? Smiley

Handsewn hairpins inspired by my wists in a cute little heart container and homemade minty lipbalm.

Misc. goodies...beautiful pictures taken by ms.scarlett, ATC-making supplies, buttons.

A drop-dead fabulous hat. I wore it to school today even though it's sort to getting warmer, hehe.

More wonderful pictures taken by the lovely gal herself in awesome frames.

And last but not least...a knitted purse! I love the pattern and can't wait to put it to use  Wink

Thank you so much!  Kiss

I received my "P" card today from jan_on_ice. It's so great, and the lace detail is a very nice touch.

P for Peeing Tom  Cheesy (I couldn't help but giggle when I opened it up!)

9  Crochet Hook Roll-Up in Crochet: Completed Projects by bonbonz101 on: February 26, 2007 11:20:34 AM
I made this a few months ago for a swap, and never got the chance to post it up here! I'm not sure what category it'd fall under, so Misc. works Smiley

All rolled up.

With the flap (hook protector) down.

It was my first, and I made it using the rough pattern from the book, "The Crafter's Companion."

Comments/criticism?  Grin

10  Re: Cancer Care Package in Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage by bonbonz101 on: February 23, 2007 03:19:51 PM
Thank you so much everyone, once again. It means a lot to me that craftsters care!

We've been sending her a package of some sort every week or so. And I finally finished the hat (see link on the first page of this thread). Thank you all for your kind words and advice. I had no idea I could knit one for her!
