What a great idea. I looooove it. I even like the pic with the psychedelic tablecloth background. Although, I'm not familiar with Mylar. Where does one buy that? Is it similar to plexiglass? Sorry for the stupid question. I know I've heard the term before, I just can't picture it. Anyway, very nice job.
Yes, Yellow Submarine is cool. I made a yellow sub cut out for my wall a few years back. It even had a real working little red propellar (which I took of of my brother's toy, lol).

Indeed about the Yum Pop, but I'm diggin' these designs. And I like the second placement. I would stuff myself into a onesie just to wear it! lol 

where did you get the avery dark shirt transfer paper?

It's what I use most of the time. I find it with most transfer papers. The most recent places I found it were Zellers and Staples.

I found the kind I used at Office Depot. Or was it Office Max? Oh dear, that doesn't help at all. lol   I'm leaning towards the first one.

I agree with breakfastclub here. I think the dark parts look great. It gives it some dimension and a hint of color. Job well done! I do have one question that I keep asking around: What kind of iron-on paper did you use?

Great job. Yeah, I don't think there will be anyone mistaking your shirt for a Hooters shirt. Yours looks classy, not "delightfully tacky." The image is really clear. Did you use a special kind of iron-on paper? I know I've used iron-on paper for dark fabric, and I was kinda disappointed.

I used to get up at 5 am so I could watch the show before school I love it, great job! Ever think about doing one from Head? The Great Victor maybe?

I'm a big Monkees fan and so is one of my friends. She's got so much Monkees memorabilia, I didn't know what she was missing. I decided to make her an original by moi featuring the band's show of the same name. The shirt is refering to a specific episode. Monkee fans should understand this one. It reads, " 1. Jump up and down three times. 2. Roll a head of cabbage. 3. Giggle," in the respective boxes. The headline says, "How to destroy a two-headed org" It's supposed to be like an instructional. First stencil, first picture post. Please be gentle. *wink wink*
The making--It turned out so-so. I used freezer paper, straight acrylic paint, and a sponge brush. The text was too small to cut stencils (or at least from what little experience I have), so I used iron-on transfer for use on dark fabric. I have issues with that, but I won't go into it. Anyway, my friend absolutely loved it and she's planning to wear it at a Peter Tork concert. So I guess it's all good. Here's the pic:
