Hi everyone,

I completed this top a few days back.  Call me crazy, but I knitted it with baby nylon.  Overall I'm pleased with it.   Cheesy

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / FO: Frog Summer Top on: August 27, 2007 06:45:44 PM
I really wanted to post my latest FO days ago, but I kept getting a message saying that the picture hosting wasn't available at the moment.  I have now worked out how to add photos here by doing it another way - which is probably the way everyone else does it!   Roll Eyes

Anyway here she is, Frog... because I did a lot of that while knitting her!   Tongue

5  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / AUSTRALIA / The temptations are endless on: June 20, 2007 07:18:05 PM
G'day lovely people..   Grin

I just found out Kmart in Perth are having a yarn sale (until the 27th June) and everything is 25% - 50% off!!

I'm trying really hard not to think about it though, because I really need to reduce my yarn stash.  But it's so difficult.

Anybody have the same problem??   Undecided

7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / Threading crystal beads on: March 14, 2007 12:57:03 AM
Hi everyone,

My mother has a beautiful necklace made out of real crystal beads which is very old.  She hasn't worn it for a long time because the thread broke and she didn't know what to use to fix it.

My question is what is the best and strongest thread available for fixing this.  I suggested fixing it with thin fishing line, but she's really frightened of it breaking again.

Any ideas, suggestions or advice would be appreciated!

cheers!

9  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Sort of a knitting question but not really? on: November 15, 2006 12:06:59 AM
I'm sorry if this isn't really a knitting related question... but does anybody know what happened to these guys?

I recently found it in my bookmarks from ages ago.  Is there a webpage somewhere that I don't know about?

Hi all,

I had posted some notes on how to make my 'Easy Peasy Tee' several months ago and thought you might like to know that I now have it in a (free) PDF format on my blog.
