So, I've finally understood the pattern I'm using for my first friendship bracelet. I received one in the mail, and was making one to return to her. Hers is nice, and smooth and has no holes you can see through. Mine? Bumpy, the sides are wobbly, and there's small pinprick holes you can see through. I THINK I'm making the knots tightly, but can't think of anything else besides tension that would cause this problem. Any helpful tips would be appreciated!

All handsewn. He looks kind of spazzic, because the eye whites were too big, and the eye rounds weren't really oblong... but I think it gives him character! My first chain stitch too. All in all had a fun time with him, and hope his new momma likes him as much as I do One day, I might be able to take decent photos! At least they're not blurry like my pics used to be!

Hey guys. Now, I KNOW how to crochet in the round, I've done it before... but my joins look horrible, and my "seam" always goes crooked. Is that normal?

Also, when you join, then chain (however many) for the first sitich, do i crochet in the joined stitch, or the next stitch for the next sc/dc/etc? I'm not sure... and I'm thinking thats why my joins are not straight. Hopefully that made sense as a question. Thanks in advance!
