21  Key To My Heart - Warning: corneyness ^_^ in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by Avi on: May 15, 2008 03:15:25 PM
So, I was bored one day, and I made this for the boyfriend. Yes, I know, corny, but he loved it Smiley Gotta love having a boy who's as mushy as you are!

Sorry they're so blurry, my camera was having a pissfit.

Sculpty, with acrylic paint and a glaze finish.

23  WIP : First poly doll! Doll Nudity (pic heavy... sort of) in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by Avi on: April 30, 2008 07:15:03 PM
Ok, I know this isn't a completed project but I'm so proud of it so far I just had to show you guys!

She's made from sculpty and a wire/aluminum foil/masking tape armature. Did the body today Smiley She's a surprise for someone - can't say who though Wink

Any comments or criticism are greatly appreciated! I'm sort of winging it as I go along, as this is the biggest thing I've made out of clay yet, and I've never ever made a doll. Using a mixture of pictures and tutorials from nanner's site, enchanted whimsies

24  Re: Newbies Only Swap Round 8 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Avi on: March 12, 2008 10:28:19 AM
My stuff from bshatt!

all together:

my birdie:

gorgeous tote bag:

and an AMAZING crocheted throw:

close up:

My camera doesn't do the colours justice at all. It's a deep chocolate brown on the birds beak and the majority of the throw, and this cute hot pink for the flowers and bird's body. The best representation of it is in the bird picture, on the throw.

Thank you so much bshatt, I love it!  Kiss

25  Pasha the Penguin in Knitting: Completed Projects by Avi on: February 13, 2008 01:32:06 PM
I made Pasha from the Knitty Winter 04 issue. He's so soft and cuddley! I didn't use two stands on his black bits, so as you can tell you can see right through to his filling, but at least I know better next time. Was the first time I knitted a stuffy, so I'm quite proud Smiley Excuse the mess that's my desk lol.

26  Bailey the Giant Panda! in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Avi on: February 13, 2008 01:27:35 PM
My Giant panda, think he came out to 18 inches tall or so. I love him! Originally was made with the intention of giving him away... but I can't part with him lol. I'll probably end up making another one in different colours.

I modified the head, since if you follow the pattern it turns into a point (who wants a pointy headed panda?) and added the tail and heart on his arse Wink

28  Blue Elf Painting in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by Avi on: January 28, 2008 10:20:11 AM

Done with acrylics on canvas. My first time using them, so I was pretty happy with how it turned out. Of course, you can't see the colours very well, the pictures quite crappy. My camera's having issues so I had to use my cell phone, bleh.

Based off of a dark elf cinematic from Lineage 2.
