1  Re: Kevin Smith and Related Movies Swap Gallery-- I Assure You We Are Open! in The Swap Gallery by kidcompassion on: September 24, 2008 10:14:16 AM
Guess what? I received my Kevin Smith swag today!

My own funployee nametag!

One of the rad carved stamps she made!

The stamps inside of a cool purple and yellow Mooby box... that i could not get a picture of of because my camera battery died.  But it has an awesome Fimo mooby logo on the top!

And my favorite part: a clerks bag!  This just became my new knitting bag.

There's a drawing on one side...

And an embroidered Randal on the other!!

How cool is that??

Thanks so much Lera-star!

i received my awesome awesome awesome package from edud! i can't believe how spoiled i am!

first, everything was wrapped up with these super cute bloom elastics:

there was a great book on organizing (which i need!) and a bundle of stickers:

an amazing purse made with pink cordoroy (my favorite!) with the cutest little bluebird!

action shot! (in my bathroom, which is weird, but it's the only mirror in my house!)

and all my stuff in the purse!

then there were these killer retro magnets made of ads from an old magazine! (my favorite one is the "crisco: it's digestible!" one)

and finally this AMAZING journal! this was like the first time edud ever made one and i can't believe it because it's so awesome!!

thank you so much for everything edud and thanks to gothchics for organizing!!

sorry for these awful pictures, but i have been waiting to get my real digital camera back from a friend who keeps forgetting to return it...so i had to take some lousy cell phone camera pictures.

this photo does not do justice to the A-MA-ZING headband i received from psoupdesigns.  i love it so much!!

and this is my gorgeous, super fun pendant from Gator Wrangler.  thank you so much ladies!! this has been a great swap!
(and i just realized that these pictures are sideways, d-uh.  )

i'm so, so, SO sorry it has taken me so long to post a picture of my offering.  i'm knitting five hats, big loose casual ones. i've been waiting to get my camera back, but no luck, so here are some not so hot cell phone camera pictures.  i'm making them in various styles (some with cabled, some ribbed). here's one of the cabled ones so you get the idea.

so this gorgeous items are actually from a personal swap way back in december, but i'm a big idiot and forgot to post pix with all the christmas hoopla!

i traded with atsuko, who made me these unbelievably beautiful necklaces (which i have already received a million compliments on):

and these lovely holiday decorations. i gave one to my mom for christmas and she went crazy for it!!

thank you SO MUCH, atsuko, and i am so sorry about the lag time in putting up pictures!!

6  Re: "The Office" Swap Gallery Post your Officalicious pictures here! :-) in The Swap Gallery by kidcompassion on: January 10, 2007 11:53:43 AM
okay, so after taking about 800 pictures in order to get some usable ones - here's some of the super rad swag i received from elphalba!

first, a box from the bird funeral episode, featuring a bird inside that scared the heck out of me!

the coolest dwight bobblehead bag which i now tote around all my drumming gear in!

the most clever jello/stationary fridge magnets - and wow are they ever impressive looking!

possibly the coolest thing i received, but am unable to get a clear picture of is this hilarious pencil topper elphalba made of a foot wrapped in bubblewrap! i wish i could show it off because it's so cool, elphalba, could you possibly post a picture of it if you have one? i think it's just too small for my camera to handle - but it's such a brilliant item!

thank you so much! this was such a great and fun swap!

7  Re: Polka Dot Swap 2! in The Swap Gallery by kidcompassion on: January 10, 2007 11:48:10 AM
this is the awesome package i received from ragdoll193. this picture stinks, because there's something wrong with my camera that is putting a big fuzzy halo around everything that isn't shot from far away - but believe me the package is so awesome.  Grin

i received a ton of stuff, two polka dot covered journals, one of which ties with a ribbon which i TOTALLY swooned over when i saw it, a little polka dot bow hair clip which i've already worn repeatedly, a whole bunch of polka dot ribbons, a great ribbon wristcuff, and the most beautiful stitch markers ever!

i am so lucky, thank you SO MUCH ragdoll193! i love it all (but ESPECIALLY the journals, which are like my favorite thing in the world to collect!!)

i just wish i could take a better picture to do it all justice!!!

finally! after an epic battle i wrestled my camera into submission and managed to get these sad shots of the AMAZING treats i received from the super talented piratecore. first, her polymer clay skills are amazing on these cupcake charms that have already gotten me loads of compliments (i put them on a necklace that i tried to get a pic of but it wound up too fuzzy):

and she also sent me a handpainted cupcake pot that is bound for my desk at work! and the girl can PAINT!

thank you piratecore! i love these so much! how did you get the cupcakes to be glittery? is that a special clay or did you have to add the glitter yourself?
