5  EUROPE / FRANCE / Paris for the younger crafty set? on: February 01, 2008 08:22:57 PM
hello craftster community, long time no post!
anyway, for my school this year, we're going to Paris. I was wondering:
a) any "must-check-out" places you all could recommend? i know we're going to have down time so i'm hoping to compile a little list of awesome shops, cafes, restaurants, and vintage stores to go to. suggestions? anything retro, edgy, or music-related (or crafty of course!) and i'm totally there.
b) would anyone in Paris care to potentially meet up? as i said, there's going to be extreme down time, but it's kinda tentative, but i thought i would ask regardless. what better way to see Paris than by a parisian craftster?

thanks for your help, guys!

9  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Celtic/Nordic Themed Swap? on: November 28, 2006 06:02:06 PM
yay! sounds great! i love nordic stuff. however, my definition of norse art is somewhat different that wikipedia's... i was thinking more fair isle-y, simple flowers and animals, like what Anthropologie and Free People seem to be into lately? anyone else with me on this mindset?
i'm definitly interested.
