12  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / My 1st custom Imp !!!!!!! on: November 05, 2006 12:45:58 PM
This is my first custom Imp. He is kinda dark because of the navy blue skin. I love the green hair and goatee. He was a blast to make, with his little tiny wings, green eyebrows, and horns. I love adding the personality. I wish I had a better pic to show but he was really hard to photograph.  I hope my customer likes him!

For now here is two close-ups of the face!

Thanks for looking !!!  Kiss

13  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Witchy-Poo (Edit: another photo) on: November 05, 2006 12:39:45 PM
I was itching to make a doll that I could do a paint wash on it. So I came up with this little lady. I think she is just too cool !! I love the colors.

She has hand-dyed wool hair, and the cutest halloween outfit!!
Thanks for looking,

Cristina  Cheesy

Edit: Another photo of her whole body!!

You can see her shoes right next to her feet!!
14  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / !!Adult Content!! I need advice! Pic heavy on: October 12, 2006 01:47:23 PM
I made these Quilted Vagina Wallhangings a few months ago and they are currently hanging in my bedroom. I love them and think that they celebrate a body part that so many women feel ashamed of. I never have so I felt like making something pretty out of it. The advice I need is. Do you think that I should make some more and sell them on etsy ?? I guess I just want to know if people think that they are vulgar (as my mother and younger sister think) or are they celebratory as I feel they are Huh!!!?!?!?! Opinions please !!

Please tell me what you think  !!! Thanks Cristina
15  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Sister and Brother-in-law in Embroidery on: October 02, 2006 10:35:15 AM
This was soooooo much fun! I found a couple of photos of my sister and brother-in-law and turned them into coloring pages. Then transfered them onto fabric.

This is my Brother-in-Law, acting goofy wearing fake rubber teeth at a party.

Close-up:

My sister wearing her infamous Jackie O. sunglasses:

Badies and a yoshi egg:

You can't tell but all these things are on crisp white fabric. (bad lighting I guess) I think that I'm going to turn them into a quilted wallhanging. I really love them !!!  Grin

I took at look at Ralph's post this morning and decided that I had to try this project.... I loved it.

This is mine: I am using it as a sun catcher instead of a necklace.

And a close up of the beading:

This is such a fun project and you really can't make a mistake. Thanks Ralph great project!!

19  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / More House Elves on: August 07, 2006 07:06:22 AM

20  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Felt Cockroach on: May 23, 2006 06:21:27 PM
I decided to make something off the wall. So I looked up a Clipart Picture of this....

And this is what I made from that picture....

His body is stuffed with Wal-Mart bags and fluff so that he makes crunching sounds when you hug him !!!
My sister loved him so much that I had to make her one too!! I wish I had taken a picture cause it looked more realistic. I made it with some thin leather pieces and lots of brown felt so that the color was just right. Anyway I love my own and he is now a mascot for the kitchen!!!!
