3  new nalgene cozy! in Knitting: Completed Projects by morgaroo on: October 11, 2005 08:10:14 PM
(No, it doesn't have to be 'nalgene'.)
Ages ago I posted a crochet cozy for my chilly, cumbersome waterbottle in the crochet forum.http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=24597.0

Now I have a knit version.Ta Da!!

It's felted in briggs and little.   More info at my blog: http://pomoboho.blogspot.com  Leave me a comment if you're interested in the pattern (it has some crocheting components to make it sturdier)  I'm selling some with intarsia motifs...skulls, "H2O"-ha ha so clever!, flowers and lightning bolts -any more ideas welcome!

4  Flower Neckace in Crochet: Completed Projects by morgaroo on: August 25, 2005 08:13:32 AM
When I wear this over my winter tops here in the snowy north, I will pretend it is still summer lol.

Please excuse the naughty Judy's nipple.  She is a slutty mannequin  from Club Monoco.  It couldn't be helped.

5  Mini Ruffles in Knitting: Completed Projects by morgaroo on: June 13, 2005 01:34:32 PM
Ack!  Am I the only one who couldn't get through the amazing "Ruffles" from IK's Scarf Style?  I really enjoyed the pattern  but gave up early.  Here's my mini ruffles:
I cast off one side and just kept knitting the other half in stockinette to make a collar:
I will add details on my blog.   It also looks really smashing with the ruffles going down your spine!  I want to make a really glam one now!

6  Dropstitch Shrug V.Happy! in Knitting: Completed Projects by morgaroo on: March 30, 2005 09:15:05 PM

I am so happy with this!  (look at my funny smug face in the photo!) It is based on Twinkle's 'Cable Shrug' from VK winter04.  I changed it quite a bit (the biggest change being that I'm wearing it back to front.) Check out the dropstitch detailing....

Just proud as a peacock!
Has anyone else tried this pattern?  I was going to do it as directed and would love to see how it knits up!

8  Granny Square Coppelia Top in Crochet: Completed Projects by morgaroo on: March 25, 2005 03:30:51 PM

This is made of 4 Granny Squares seamed in a row and laced at the front with dc straps.
v. pomoboho, no? I made it sitting in front of the soaps so it's a pretty quick make.  I wanted to take a photo of it in the woods or at a pub but this is my Mum's crazy house. lol

9  Anarchy in a Hat in Knitting: Completed Projects by morgaroo on: March 23, 2005 02:24:33 PM

Here's something i whipped up quick for a punk's 18th.  It's just a rectangle hat and took no time since I didn't want the 'a' to be perfect. At all. (yay punk; diy saved my butt) I made it extra stretchy so he can pull it out and over his baseball cap. Too cute and easy!xoxoxo

10  striped nalgene cozy in Crochet: Completed Projects by morgaroo on: February 02, 2005 03:24:53 PM
my take on cozying things that really don't need it:
really, it was all about using up the crochet cotton i love and always buy but never use.  this is a great place for it! (also it makes up for the fact that i dont have a sporty backpack to attach my water bottle on to. i've given up trying to look like i camp, rugged boys be damned)
