1  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Selling a dress/pricing advice on: November 24, 2006 09:15:25 AM
So I need a little advice on this...  The other day I was wearing one of my own/made dresses and a friend loved it so much she wanted me to make her one.

She asked me how much and I said that the material cost me $50 and she said so if I give you $75 would that me enough?  I said sure.

Well when I went to pick up her material I found the exact stuff I needed from Walmart of all places for $1.99/m.  Sooo all of her material only came to $8.00.

My dilemma is do I stick with the original price or do a bring it down accordingly?  I don't want her to under value my skills or my time but i don't really want to over charge her either.

Please give me a hand with this.

I REALLY NEED A HAND WITH THIS!!!  I'M MEETING UP WITH HER IN AN HOUR!!  please???

I just finished this blanket and toque for my sister in-law's baby shower.  I used Bernat satin yarn so that she could wash it.  These pictures are after the first wash and dry in the dryer.

8  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / snuggles for baby on: June 05, 2006 08:08:23 AM
I have been wanting to post here for a while but just hadn't finished much lately.  Cheesy

This is a blanket that I had made for a friend's new niece.  Apparently I was tapping into a colour scheme that the mom was going for because Jordice's room is all in pinks and browns.

thanks for looking!
