That's it!  I've made up my mind.  i NEED to become a knitter for the next Potter movies.  There is just no way around it.  paid to knit on one of the biggest movies and to have so many people disecting your work would be so awesome!   Grin

I've made this bag with upholstery fabric and it works fine.  I do recommend lining it.  It just comes out looking very professional that way.

As for the strapping and the loops you can get that at any local fabric store. Even some Walmarts still carry that kind of stuff.

Have fun and I can't wait to see pictures.
4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Help turn my wheelchair into a Hippogriff/Dragon for the HP launch! on: June 28, 2007 10:47:37 AM
This is a fabulous idea!

I do have a couple of questions though...  what kind of budget are you thinking?   under a $100 i'm assuming.  Also what is your medium?  do you sew, glue, knit?  Really what are you comfy doing?

Yeah I just used what I had in my stash.  I'm pretty sure that it was the discounted/ discounted stuff that was just too good a deal to pass up.

This is proof that you can fit a 20 lb bag of dog food + treats in this bag.

I didn't line it as I found it a little bulky but the cotton rip-stop works great.  I french seamed the whole thing for added strength.

Thank you so much for the tute.

I know that I was very young when my mother let me,"Play with the Scraps"  She had a child sized sewing machine that she would set up for me to play on.

some thing similar to this

Schnauzer!!! I may have to make a more masucline version of this.  In Calgary, Henry just gets COLD in the winter and you could put this over his harness and we could still go for walks.  Great jorb.
