That's GINORMOUS!  Holy. . . !  I (also) love the strap, and also how you mixed the stripes with the polka dots as your lining/pocket fabrics.  Good job!

I'm going back to school this semester and I'll probably use it as my school bag to carry books and such. Smiley

I just finished this bag. It`s so big because I girl needs to carry her whole world in her tote bag, right?

Inside - two pockets for cell phone, keys, etc:

& an action shot so you can see how big it is:

I love it and I hope you do too.

Thanks for looking!  Wink

I love the fabric choices. It's funny that I see this top now, because I was thinking about making myself a summer dress (for the summer, of course, it's winter now where I live) the same way you made your shirt. You totally inspired me even more, so thanks.
25  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: TUTORIAL: Singlet Style Shopping Bag (like the plastic shopping bag) on: May 23, 2008 11:02:00 AM
So I made one of those for myself and use it when I buy something. But now that I moved out of my parents house and have to go grocery shopping, of couse it takes a lot more than one bag and I end up using the plastig bags. But I have so many plastic bags at my house now, that I'm disgusted. I HAVE to make more of these. I want to make 5 more and make 2 or 3 bigger than the regular plastic bag. I hope I will never need a plastic bag again when I finish making my bags.
