21  Knitting bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ronise on: November 20, 2006 04:24:32 AM
So, after a long time away from my sewing machine I finally completed a project. Its a bag for a friend so she can carry around whatever shes knitting at the moment. It matches the needle case I posted here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=89166.msg841310#msg841310

It was kind of hard to make it and also add the zipper because I dont sew very well and Im still learning, but Im happy with it and I think my friend will be happy too.

Thanks for looking.
Have a nice week.

23  Camel colored corduroy velvet purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ronise on: August 06, 2006 07:47:36 PM
Lately I've been down and don't feel like sewing anymore. But today I woke up feeling good and decided to sew, so I made this:

It's for my mom, because I promissed he I'd make her a bag and also because tomorrow I'm getting a new tattoo and she's not too excited about it. lol.

I have to put a magnetic snap closure yet, I didn't have one at home and I'll buy tomorrow.

It's my second attempt doing this kind of bag and even though this one came out much better than the first, I'm still not happy with the result. I'll just keep trying.

Thanks for looking.

It took a long time, but my second package from Kristen81 is here, look:

There's candy, pepper, lip gloss, a postcard and this amazing case for my cell phone:

My mom and I have been eating candy all day. That red balls you sent...they burn!
And the lip gloss is yummy, smeels just like skittles (didn't try the other one yet)

Thanks so much for everything.

I made one myself, a little modified. I love it, it's a gift for a friend.

I came home from work and had a wonderful surprise: a box from Hertrigger! Smiley

There are so many things inside the box and I love everything. And the best part is that she sent me Airheads. I used to love those when I was an exchange student in Texas and I wanted to ask for it, but I couldn't remember the name of it. My mom was as excited as I was, she almost opened the box before I came home, she was so curious to see what was inside.

Here's a picture:

A lot of candy: chiclets, nerds, skittles, Air heads, Pez, Donutz, Sweet tarts, Smarties, Oreos, Pop Rocks. And there's a cute little can with candy. There's also a Funny Bunny that I think it's really funny.
There's also a magazine, postcards, papers, somethings that you put in water and they grow (looks like fun, I love this kind of thing), snow globe with glitter inside (can it get better than this?), pens, a glass and some send.

I think that's all. I'm really happy. Thanks Vanessa, you rock!
I think I'll be in round 5 now.  Grin

27  Tote bag in a smaller version in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ronise on: April 23, 2006 07:22:42 PM
After 4 broken needles, I finished this:

It's a pocket in the front:

There is this pocket inside too, it's divided in two so I have place for my cell phone and for small things. Snap closure:

Thanks for looking.

30  Needle case: jeans and stripes in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ronise on: March 14, 2006 06:01:06 PM
I don't knit or crochet or anything, but my friend [who knits] asked me to make her a needle case and a matching tote bag. Since I'm a beginner and never made a needle case, I decided to make one to practice before I made hers. I was too lazy to read and follow the tutorials, so I just made it in a way I thought it would work, and it worked! So, here it is:
