Here's the last bag I made:

And this is what I learned from a book:

I know it's a simple stitch and everyone know how to do it, but I didn't until last week. Smiley

Thanks for looking.

I made another one and instead of a velcro I used a button for the closure of the wallet.

I love the pepper fabric!

I hope you enjoy.

Thanks again Jaloux, you were a wonderful partner.
And also thanks again Bruisedpeach22 for organizing this swap.

Now I'm anxious to know if Jaloux will like what I sent to her.

9  Wallet-Sized Fold-Up Re-Usable Shopping Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ronise on: November 22, 2007 05:38:45 PM
IMPORTANT: I did not came up with the idea/design. It came from http://whipup.net/2007/09/01/wallet-sized-fold-up-re-usable-shopping-bag/

With that said, I present you my bag:

The front part is used to fold the bag into a wallet:

And it's also a little pocket:

And a crappy action shot so you can see how big it is:

I hope you like it.

I think this is a fabulous idea, it makes the bag very practical to be carried inside your purse all the time.

Thanks for looking.

10  Re: Make Me A Needlebook! Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by ronise on: November 16, 2007 01:46:51 PM
I'm really excited!

I came home from work and I was in a very bad mood, but once I saw I had an envelope for Germany I was in a very good mood all of a sudden!

minanina made a wonderful needlebook with my favorite colors:

See? There`s black, pink and green.

She also put many needles inside and this little tool that I have no idea what it's called in English, but I know it's called passa fio in Portuguese..

I love it so much!!!

Thanks again Marina for the wonderful pincushion and Pauline for organizing the swap. It was a fun swap!
