That's awesome! I'll have to keep this in mind for later. Much much later. Smiley

I don't know who Emily Browning is (should I?) but that's absolutely beautiful. You're very talented!
24  COOKING / Dessert / Re: how to make MARSHMALLOW FONDANT! (super pic-chunky!) on: August 18, 2010 06:31:44 AM
Oh dang, havoc, thanks for letting us know. I really wanted the Cricut cake machine, but now that I know it doesn't work with MM fondant, there's no way I'm shelling out 400 bucks. I refuse to use regular fondant.
Woohoo, you just saved me $400!
25  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: I <3 America -- 50 state embroidery on: August 11, 2010 07:35:03 PM
it's neat, but my horrible geography knowledge only allows me to pick out Texas, Alaska, and Florida.  Huh
Wait! I found California and Hawaii! Haha

dang it. i must have done something wrong, cuz my bags sort of fused together, but also fused to the paper.
i used freezer paper cuz i didn't have parchment, but i just wasted 8 bags Sad sad. maybe when i'm not so sleepy, i'll try it with plain ol' copy paper *sigh*

28  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects / Re: Sustainable Gardening on: July 12, 2010 08:56:11 PM
That's absolutely awesome! I would love to have a little ranch/farm like yours but I'm inherently lazy and don't think I'd keep at it long enough for anything to successfully grow. When we get a house, I think we might start a (much smaller!) veggie/fruit/herb garden and I'll remember this post as inspiration Smiley

30  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: Bridal Shower Game Cards on: May 15, 2010 11:48:21 PM
On the bridal shower bingo, did you leave all the squares the same, and then people just put what the bride got wherever they want, and that's how the cards were different? I really like this idea; I'm trying to stockpile a bunch of ideas for future parties I'll have to throw.
Also, at my bridal shower, my friend did the purse thing, but they rigged it so I definitely would win by putting a stapler in my purse and having that be a bunch of points. I think it'd be hilarious if the host or someone put in a crap-ton of condoms in the guest-of-honor's purse. But then again, I'm immature. Eh.
