2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Mod Paris/French Swap on: May 17, 2006 07:28:28 PM
I know this has been done before, and i imagine i pretty much wouldnt get any joiners if i did it because i dont have feedback yet but i'd love to do a paris themed swap, more mod paris, thinking cute girls on scooters near eiffel towers, decorated pretty tea cups, girly things with a modern twist,
Hmm, i'm very into all things french.
What do people think about this idea?

edited to say:- sorry if this idea isnt "trendy" enough, bit of a dork here

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / felted bag - question on: May 15, 2006 10:47:38 AM
Hi, ok this may seem like a very stupid question to some but hopefully i wll get an answer
I am knitting a bag to felt currently and am having bamboo handles, is it best to attach them before felting so that the bag is shaped better or is it better to felt the fabric first and then attach the bamboo handles?
*shameful question i know*

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / yet another Jean skirt re-con, dont shoot me, plurlease? on: January 10, 2006 02:17:58 AM
hi everyone, i have only just figured out to use my phone as a camera and get the photos on to my laptop (i know, im crap) and saw this skirt i made last week and so im attempting a picture post :-)
its another boring jean skirt recon which i am sure you are alll truly and utterly sick of but i like it anyway :-) its short, too short for me really but i wear it anyway and its a pair of old jeans, made into a skirt, lace added round the bottom (by hand because my sewing machine is screwed).
The marks on it are actually silver fabric paint and not bleach so it glistens, the splodges on the front i used a star stencil for but alas, it went a little tits up.
