11  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knitted Wire on: February 18, 2008 01:28:46 PM
I've been busy!

I was so busy the past year, that I almost didn't knit. I remember that a whole month pass without picking up my needles.

By the beginning of this year, I started working part-time (not by choice, I must tell you, I really need the money), so I found myself with a lot of spare time.

I've been knitting these:

Do you like them?
I've been knitting some purses too, but I haven't got a chance to take good pictures of them.

17  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: My Country Doesn't Have That Round 8- Ongoing (March 26- April 27) on: April 01, 2007 02:47:10 PM
I claim mclianne for stuff from Portugal (related to her list). I am from Portugal and this is my first claim.

I would like to receive from whatever country that is not Portugal, I'm not picky at all.

I would like to receive whatever, but I have more use to yarn, fabric, knitting suplies, beads, buttons and I would love candy, craft magazines... Just surprise me!
Also, I can't find in my country:
Epoxy! Or any kind of cast resin...
Spinning thingy - Spindle (had to google it)
Carded wool, roving and felting needles... Impossible to find. Go figure!

Special requests:

Switzerland - Don't forget to send me chocolate, eheheh.
Germany - Rebecca knitting magazines!!! Old ones would be fine.
Scotland and UK - Tea!!! And I love your candy...
USA- the usual stuff (you poor guys): shrinky dinks, kool aid, knitting magazines, altoids, sharpies...

I'm not picky so I'd love anything that is particular from your country Smiley
18  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Mr. Octopi - Octopus with Instructions on: February 28, 2007 03:03:29 AM
Hi girls! I've made a Mrs. Octopi!

The picture is strange, but she looks like her husband, only a bit smaller Smiley
19  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: My new bag on: February 28, 2007 02:45:16 AM
To felt it a little, just throw it in the washing machine in an usual load to try it out. Darker colors felt a little more.
You'll love the result, it doesn't shrink much, go ahead and try it!
