1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: RENT/RENT remixed swap on: November 01, 2007 01:00:22 PM
RENT remixed is the new version now showing in London. All the characters are English (though I belive it's still set in new york, at least all the America references are in there). A lot of the songs are changed a little bit. There's some song on Youtube if you're curious. Just typed RENT remised in the search.

3  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / RENT/RENT remixed swap on: October 23, 2007 11:31:58 AM
Seeing RENT remixed yesterday got my brain going for loads of crafty ideas related to both RENT and RENT remixed. I was wondering if anyone thinks this would be a good idea for a swap? I seem to remember there being a RENT swap in the past, but now RENT remixed has been released too, I thought that maybe that would create some more crafty oppurtunities. So what do you think?
4  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Tim Burton Swap Round 2 Gallery on: September 18, 2007 09:50:39 AM
I recieved the most awesomest package today!

First off is this amazing little box, seriously Molliemoo, you have skill!

Inside the box were this adrable little keychain and pouch:

And to top it all off, I got a gourgeous bag. Now usually I'm a girl who likes her pink in moderation, but I LOVE this bag! I'm going to use it as a knitting bag as I keep losing needles when I use my current one for school.

 Thankyou so much MollieMoo!

Grin I'm glad you like your package! I have to admit, I was quite proud of Jack. The base of the pattern is Bad Juju from the anticraft with a few adjustments (like longer limbs etc.), and the jacket I just kinda made up as I went along. The picture on the journal wasn't drawn by me (I wish I could draw like that!), but I do believe it is hand drawn, I found it on a Disney art site.

I'm hoping I'll get my package soon, though I'm waiting for a few things to come through the post which are taking ages too, so I bet they'll all come at once!

I'm really excited about Sweeney Todd too! It's a little longer to wait over here, but not too long, I can't wait to see it!
6  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Tim Burton Swap Round 2 (SIGNUPS CLOSED;SENDOUT 08/27/07) on: August 23, 2007 09:06:05 AM
Wow the deadline is getting close! I think I should be finished in time hopefully, especially thanks to a wedding on Saturday, in my experience, I always end up sitting around for hours with nothing to do, but there nothing to stop me taking my WIPs with me  Grin

Woah you people have been chatty while I was gone!

Well I'm back from my hols with one major item well on it's way to completion, all my ideas sorted, and some of the extra needed supplies bought. I've now got a couple of days free so I'm thinking CRAFT MARATHON!!!

I had a bit of Burton withdrawal while I was away, thankfully on Monday the bar at the place I was staying decided to show Charlie ad the Chocolate factory! I probably looked a bit odd sitting in a bar with a bunch of kids and their parents crafting though lol!

10  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: ready to give up-yarn sub woes on: July 19, 2007 04:47:34 AM
Well Wendy do an Aran yarn with wool in it, it's pretty cheap too, especially considering when you see how big the balls are: http://www.angelyarns.com/wendy/knit.php/yarn/1204

My LYS also stocks two other very similar yarns, one is made by Stylecraft, however I can't find an online shop that sells it currently. I can't remember the other brand but I can look next time I'm in the shop for you if you'd like?
