I always photograph on a white terry cloth towel, it absorbs light, doesn't give off any reflections and then I edit the background out in Photoshop so the pouches look like they're "floating" on screen.
ETA, I always make sure I have an open window behind me (curtains pulled back I mean). For post-processing stuff, after the background is edited out, I usually bump my contrast by 5-10 points, then my saturation by 5 or so (to give true to life colors), sharpen edges.
I did a quit edit of one of your cute pouches to show what I mean, I hope it doesn't freak you out
If it does, I'll take it down LOL!
