My Secret Friend read my mind  - I saw a frame like this earlier today and was wishing for it - is telepathy also capable of time travel?  Because this was on my desk at work this a.m. when I got in after 5 days off...

Here's some brainstorming...

When I think of being cancer free- I think of strong women, tenacity, a celebration of life, longevity, family - what's important, achieving goals, climbing mountains.

Oh yes and I know that is a far cry from an idea for a party game but you could stretch it that way - like have everybody write down the one place on earth they have always wanted to go to/see in person but have not been and then write them all down and everybody guesses who's is whose.

So I read through this book yesterday I said - oh man I can do that.

So this morning I dug through my recycing bin, took out my aviator snips and made this flower...



What do you think?  It was amazingly easy and took about 20 minutes (sans washing cans time)

So I had my table at the convention and it went pretty well.  I learned that if you are doing costumes at a convention like that you only really need to have your table on day one.  After that costumes are a moot point.

I sold about 10 masks with pricing at $25, $30 & $35.

 I also had some wigs and dread falls I had made which sold quite well. 

The table made the trip possible.  I didn't walk away with a load of cash in my pocket cause I spent a lot to go across the country to be there. 

I am now looking for places locally to try to set up a table - so if any Bay Area crafters have the hook up ...
