1  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / adding scent to lotion on: May 15, 2006 02:55:32 PM
I just got a "fragrance-free" all-natural lotion...problem is, while it may have no perfumes, it still has a very disconcerting smell. vaugely cheeselike. Is there something I can add to the lotion to scent it that won't interfere with the texture/cause it to go bad/ etc? I don't mind perfuming it a little to mask the smell (the cheesey smell fades, mostly, eventually, after I put it on).
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Fuzzy Hot Pink Scarf on: December 30, 2004 09:55:05 AM
I knit this with Lion Brand Fun Fur. It came out a bit shorter than I'd like, because I had to scrap some of my second ball due to a severe knotting accident.  Sad But I still love it. A bit itchy, though...

I'm just going to link to the pictures because I'm a lazy person who can't doesn't want to resize. Also, keep in mind that my camera has the Uberflash, so it looks a lot brighter here than it might ordinarily. And excuse the backdrop of my gross, million-years-old comforter.

3  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / What to stencil ON? on: November 12, 2004 12:25:35 PM
I want to make personalized stenciled things for my friends and family for Christmas... what is there to stencil on other than t shirts and notebooks?

I'm sure there's a lot, but I'm drawing a blank...
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Pincushion stuffing on: October 29, 2004 01:28:11 PM
I want to make a pincushion. I was thinking a felt turtle with little legs... simple but cute. I figured I'd just stuff the top with polyfil but I want to fill the legs with sand or emery powder both to use to sharpen the needles and to anchor the turtle a little. Where can I find these things? At a craft store, or maybe hardware? Can I get little enough to just make one pincushion? Are they expensive?

thnx in advance. <3
