i sold a whole year iPod cover subscription yesterday, so that completely made my day (and pays for one third of the electrical work i need to get done on the house on monday  - yippee!)

so i made two similiar covers - one for the first installment of the subscription, and one to post.

maybe it's because i'm not a beader, but i really love used materials more than new ones.  yes, she should have been more open about where they were from, but you really can't / won't use used beads?

i had my face as my etsy-tar (sorry, couldn't help it) for a while, but got tired of looking at my own face in the forums. 
so now it's my sweet little house, which officially became mine all mine yesterday.
SWEET!

so... now to set up my sewing room (girlscantell headquarters) + silkscreening table, etc.

but that'll be fun.

i just hate that for the time being i can't accept custom orders, it'll take me forever to get them done with all my other (real life, non etsy) projects.

they're my favorite fabric, i couldn't help it.  and i love bikes.  i'm afraid my shop is getting repetive for the time being, but then i don't really care, since it's stuff i love.

so, i'm a little frustrated on the consignment front...  i currently consign with four shops... sort of.  two have yet to open, one hasn't returned my latest email (i was asking how my stuff is doing, if she wanted more stuff, and if there is a check in the mail...)  and one said i am their #2 seller overall, but i'm just not feeling it for that shop.  which upsets me, because it's the only place of the four that i'm actually selling at, you know?  i just am not 100% sure it's the right fit for me there.  but i guess until the other two open, i'll stick it out...  etsy is definitely my #1 favorite place to sell.
except last night, when someone who was trying to buy one of my bags online told me about the trouble she was having opening an account.  grrr.

pinkangel, i sold 4 things on tuesday and only got three  of the transaction emails (luckily the missing one was a repeat buyer, so i had her info).  weird, though.

i posted a new purse and i had superfun photographing it.
and i'm pretty excited - i got custom tags from rohmcustom, and so this is one of my last purses to be tagless.  : )

i listed two things this morning (the roller earrings i posted here and also a really pretty fabric that i made into a zip pouch)
and i find it interesting that they have the same # of views even though one is jewelry...
