1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Birds are beautiful swap round 3 Gallery on: December 08, 2008 06:41:37 PM
It looks like Maehem has not had a chance to post pics yet so I will go ahead and do it!

I did forget to take a pic of the mini-art card that I made of a peacock (drawn with gold pen on a teal-blue watercolor background)...oops!

A necklace similar to one on her Wist...

A Hummingbird Pouch...

And finally a Bird Silhouette Mobile...

I received my wonderful package from Maehem!

Here is everything all together...

A close up of the embelished apron (that reminds me of gingham print smocked dresses my Grandma used to make me when I was little) and flamingo tile necklace...

The Coffee Kozy made of a cool feather fabric...

And a stenciled wall hanging (made from the cover that goes over a stove pipe opening)...

Thanks so much Maehem...I love everything!!!  Grin

I received my package from LilFiney yesterday and holy cow do I feel spoiled!  Shocked

Here is what I received...

A cute tree stuffie, notepad and leaf stitch markers

A warm fleece scarf with appliqued trees (I wore it this morning to school...sooo soft!) and some tree fabric left over from the item in the next picture

And the amazing log yarn holder! It has a grommet on the top to feed the yarn and amazing details like stitched bark texture and a branch handle!!! I also received the leaf notepad too.

Thanks LilFiney!!!  Grin

I am very close to being finished...the extra time will give me a bit of wiggle room.  Cheesy

Woo hoo! I am in the home stretch and might even send out tomorrow if I get a few small details finished in the morning. I was afraid I would be cutting in close but some things went quicker than I anticipated.  Grin

Drool!

Great packages...I can't decide what I like more so far, the embroidered chickadee, the purse and wallet or the necklace. Everything really looks great!   Cheesy

My school district is closed today and tomorrow so time off from teaching means extra crafting time...yeah!

I am hoping to finish the medium and small items I started and get the large started and hopefully completed before the weekend is over!!!

I have my large more than 1/2 way done now and the start of a small. Our district schools are closed today and tomorrow so I do not have to teach. Today is a housework catchup day but tomorrow is a day for crafting!!! Grin

Woo hoo...I am 1/3 the way done on the large project. The trickiest part was designing it as I knew what I wanted to make but no directions matched just right. It is turning out well so (after many recalculations) anything else I do will seem much easier (knock on wood)!
