2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Beaded Yellow Tang (It sounds so DIRRTTYY!!!) on: May 11, 2007 11:20:18 PM
I bought this kit at a knitting store in Fairbanks, AK.  While it was fiddley, tiny, annoying, and teeny weeny (000 size needles), I am totally in love with this fish!  The beads give it a definite fishy texture, and the beads they included for eyes are perfect.  They had several other kits for things like a clownfish, seahorse, etc. that I want to pick up next time I am there, but for now, I need to knit something on big fat needles!

As I was cruising around the internet, I found this free pattern from the Twinkle book.

8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Eunny Jang's Anemoi Mittens on: December 27, 2006 12:26:39 AM
I finally finished these mittens for my mom for Christmas. I used yummy Koigu, and love how they turned out.  I am still having issue figuring out how to get my pictures to load onto Craftster.  (Every time I think I know what I'm doing on a computer, a new issue comes up and knocks my ego down a few pegs)  Pictures and more info are on my blog at bunchkinknits.blogs pot.com.

ETA:  I figured out how to post pictures!

I flipped the colors for each mitten because I was concerned about running out of yarn,
and you can see my one oops in the second picture on the cuff.  I didn't notice it until I was bllocking them, and no way was I going to rip back!

9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / My felted bag was a sweater in an earlier life.... on: December 18, 2006 02:37:26 AM
I knit a sweater that itched like crazy, so I turned it into a really cute felted bag. I used needle felting to add the flowers.  Yay for turning an icky project into a good one!

Pictures of the original sweater and other info are on my blog.

There's also a few pictures of baby moustaches......
