1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / IK Winter '07 on: October 22, 2007 06:21:52 PM
I was looking at my subscriber status, and it said that the winter issue was being shipped out on October 24th, so I thought it was strange that the home page didn't have any info on it yet.  Maybe they're keeping it low-key so that we won't have to be antsy between seeing the patterns and actually having the patterns in our hands?

Well, even though it usually takes me at least a year between getting the pattern and actually doing something about it, I took matters into my hands and went looking for the website.  And I found it!

Interweave Knits Winter 2007 Preview

Rosemary's Swing Cardigan looks cute.  And I like that there's more info on the preview page now, especially the sizing and gauge.

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / New Yarn at Knitpicks... on: July 17, 2006 02:05:39 PM
They seem to be trying to work out some glitches, but as of now, there are four new lines (see for yourselves!).

Previously, they had two other lines (Telemark, a sport-weight wool, and a handpainted version of Suri Dream), but I didn't get to see them...

Also, they seemed to have added new colors to existing lines (again, they're not there now, and I haven't seen them)-- Wool of the Andes, Merino Style, Suri Dream, and Essential (this one is actually up now).

Aaaah, the anticipation!
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Debbie Bliss Aran Tweed Opinions on: June 06, 2006 05:05:55 PM
Will someone with experience with this yarn mind telling me their thoughts on it?  Scratchiness, durability, etc?  (Isn't it terrible buying yarn online with no yarn store nearby?)
Thanks in advance.
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / New Knitpicks Yarn!!! on: March 03, 2006 01:20:19 PM
I am soooo excited about this.  I was on the Knitpicks page and decided to click on the "Not Your Standard Sweatshirt" page, and it's made with a new yarn!  So I decided to see what else they could have added.

There are three new lines!  In yummy cotton (which I am ecstatic about... there's only so much wool Southern Californians can knit with).

There is Shine Worsted http://www.knitpicks.com/yarns/itemid_5420140/yarn_display.aspx

Main Line http://www.knitpicks.com/yarns/itemid_5420141/yarn_display.aspx

and Spinnaker http://www.knitpicks.com/yarns/itemid_5420142/yarn_display.aspx

AND, there are new shades for Shine and Crayon.  Now, if only they would add a fingering-weight cotton yarn, I would be in heaven.
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Spring '06 IK Preview up on: January 17, 2006 10:21:54 PM
And it is here: http://iwpshopinfo.interweave.com/Knits/2006newsletters/IWKspring2006projects.htm

I'm not really thrilled about this one (though I can see myself making Norah Gaughan's Caftan and debating whether or not to make Kate Gilbert's Circle Jacket).

I did notice, however, that they didn't have the Staff Projects...  Did they give any indications of pulling the feature?
