72  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Photography--my work! <image heavy> on: January 06, 2006 05:26:06 PM
I think sepia takes away from the play of light that is SOOOO important. B&W is better, but you can tell if it's a program or film. What type of camera are you using? Do you print them, or are they just digi right now? Print makes a huge difference, too. You can critique yourself better (I think) if you have your pics on paper. They're beautiful pics, you should be very proud. I love digital, but I live by the 5% rule, I take a lot of shots because only 5% seem really great to me. The more you take, the better they get. Keep shooting!
73  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: Before bedtime, some papercraft relaxation on: January 06, 2006 03:06:49 PM
I totally understand about the instant gratification thing... I tried scrapping, and my attention span is just too short. But cards are quick and fun and useful. And yours are beautiful! And so varied!

The little stuff that isn't that noticable to you probably isn't at all to anyone else. And the pride and accomplishment make it all worth it!

I heart cootie catchers! I make em and put eyes on em do puppet shows for my son. He thinks my origami skills rock.

78  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Rose and Ribbon Pen on: January 05, 2006 07:49:11 PM
I LOVE big flashy pens! I constantly get them stolen at work. I'll have to make me some flowery ones! You make them sound so easy. But no lightbulbs  Wink
79  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: finally posting some finished xmas gifts on: January 05, 2006 07:43:38 PM
The glasses are super cool. And I'd love a shirt with an ass on it. I'm a huge animal lover Wink
80  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: A shirt? A dress? A shirt dress shirty shirt? on: January 05, 2006 07:41:17 PM
I love that color. Either way, I'd wear it with jeans. Loose jeans and sneaks to dress down, sparkly heels to dress up. Soooo...I'd go with shirt dress shirty shirt. Super cool, though.
