Sorry for the poor picture quality  . They are both much cooler in person. Oddacity's uses a very fun, shiny background and Allegory's has a lot of texture built on to it so it's like a road (the card is titled "run over")

I finished my ornaments today:

I didn't have any ribbon or denim, so I improvised with what I had lying around.

I always enjoy looking at all of the advent calendars posted here, so I thought I'd share mine for this year.

I was wanting something that could be used again from year to year, and was inspired by the "special delivery self-mailing note" project found in the Handmade Hellos book.

Each envelope is clothes-pinned to a branch that I wrapped in white yarn.

I don't know if you can tell in the picture, but the stitching is on top of a piece of transparency so it makes a little pocket for the heart "confetti".
