the spool with the 4 prongs/nails are also called corkers... when you 'cork' your yarn on it and it becomes a long woven tube shape... it's called corking ^^

I really like the bags... they look so soft and fuzzy ~feels all warm inside~ o^^o

to the people asking how long they last... if they are dried properly.... they last for aeons... and I'm not joking... still have the ones I made when  I was in grade one and I'm twenty now XD... but yea some people suggested blood orange... they do have a beautiful colour.... and can probably try mandarin and tangelos as well and pomelos... can't you tell I'm a citrus fruit addict? ^^;; yea I love fruits... ^^

I like the fact that it is the old design of Strawberry Shortcake... I'm not too keen on the new version of her... then again I grew up in the 80's so I'm attatched to old things ^^;;

those turned out really nice :] I've been trying to find bolo slides/ blank bracelets in stores... but nothing is turning up...  I really don't want to order online... but  I guess I can always try making my own or some sort of wrist band/choker...

I get my flat marbles from everywhere... so far the cheapest place is the dollar store... but I should check out the pet store... since  I make a whole bunch all the time... I'm trying to find the most cost effective way possible...

I'm glad you like my sewing box!  It's made of cardboard panels covered in fabric and glued together.  I had to make the panels on the inside a little smaller than the pattern says so that the box would actually fold up.  Luckily I realized this before the glue set and I was able to pull the panels off, slice off a piece, and glue them back on.  The other problem was the lid.  The lid from the pattern just refused to fit on the box.  I ended up making an entirely new one about a quarter of an inch bigger.  Maybe my cardboard (from a cereal box) was thicker than the author's and that's why it didn't fit together well.

It is also quite possible it was the thickness of the fabric... the reason why I remember this is because I watch too many shows on covering ottomans with batting and then fabric and they always have to add a certain amount more to what ever is going to close on top so it will actually fit...

those are cute... I like making tiny bags as well because  I don't like wasting scraps of soft fabric... I also do sequin bead flowers on mine...

Dressew's crazy. It's for sure worth checking out. And while your there you can walk a few blocks down and visit the button store. YAAAAAY. Nobody will ever go in either of these stores with me becuase I always end up spending all day.

yea I really really really want to go there because my art prof told me about it... and I never knew about Dressew before until a few months ago... I only head out to Van about once a month... so I haven't really gone to every knook and kranny there is XD...  yea I'll probably spend all day there.. I'm sick and tired of going to Lewis Crafts and Michaels and the local fabric store... the stuff there is so ho-hum and they don't expect people younger than 30/40 to be interested in crafts... I can never find those bolo slides I want... >.>;;
