2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / difficult sock patterns? on: November 16, 2007 07:37:21 AM
What's your favorite intermediate/difficult sock pattern?  I really want to try something complicated.  These are the patterns that have caught my eye so far:

Bayerische - http://www.eunnyjang.com/knit/2006/09/bayerische_sock_part_ii.html
Cablenet - http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall06/PATTcablenet.html
Pomatomus - http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter05/PATTpomatomus.html

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Textured Tunic from "Fitted Knits" on: November 14, 2007 07:27:24 PM
Very nice!  This is on my wish list.  I loved most of the patterns in that book actually.  Smiley
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Taylor: A pair of 18th century inspired mitts on: November 14, 2007 09:53:21 AM
I love these!  I checked out the pattern and the work you put into making them as accurate as possible is great.
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Who loves daisies? on: November 14, 2007 09:49:11 AM
Beautiful!  I try to avoid pastels for babies if at all possible too, but your berry color is nice and rich, I don't think it's pastel at all.  Again, very cute Smiley
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Erika Knight's Silky Wrap Sweater on: November 14, 2007 09:46:17 AM
I made this for a friend's baby.  The pattern is from the book Knitting for Two.  I love how it turned out.

Yarn is Knit Picks Gloss in Woodland Sage, needles were US 1 and US 2.  I made the 22" chest size.
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / knitty's womb on: November 14, 2007 09:43:33 AM
A friend of mine asked me to make this for her mom, who was having a hysterectomy.  I'm happy to say her mom loved it!  The rest of the family is horrified though, lol.

A fun little project to knit.  Yarn was TLC Essentials in Fusion, US 8 needles.

It also inspired my friend to ask me to teach her to knit, solely because she wants to make one for herself.
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Eunny Jang Endpaper Mitts Finished!! on: November 14, 2007 09:40:25 AM
I absolutely love the colors you used.  I'll be making these for myself soon after I finish a few other projects.  Nice to see yours turned out so well!

Thanks everyone!  I'll definitely post when I'm done, should be in a night or two.
