I'm sorry I'm so late in getting photos up -- I have been having ridiculous technical issues on this end! Anyway, better late than never, right?

I received awesome mug cozies from spikefan -- I love these! They will be going toward Christmas gifts. Thanks so much! Grin

And I also received this beautiful rainbow bowl from Averia -- this will be going in my craft room! Cheesy

Thanks so much for swapping!

Averia -- I am going to claim from you too! I love that rainbow coiled bowl! Grin

Claims allowed at one time: 3
Total claims: 3
Claims outstanding: 2
In transit: 1
Received:

Choose 1:
Rapunzel scarf -- super soft with pink, white, black yarns. I made this a while ago and it's never been used.

Deer cards -- I made these last year for our family Thanksgiving party. I was going to send out formal invitations. They didn't make it. Cheesy Now they can be yours! Seven deer cards with brown envelopes. The cards are blank inside.

Microscope slide pendants -- these are some of my overstock from when I had an Etsy shop a few years back. (Someday maybe it will return. But not today!) There's Supergirl, Green Lantern, an orange flower that has had the solder antiqued, and a forget-me-not that has faded a bit. (Still pretty -- this one is encased in two bevels.) Can send with or without a cord to wear them from!

Kanzashi brooches -- all four for 1 point, or take one for 1/4 of a claim. I made these as well and they are also overstock from my Etsy.

Stamp set -- This is a never used, super cute stamp set that I am just never going to use. It was originally $25, but I got it on sale -- so they are a nice set!

Choose 2:

Yarn! All three for 1/2 a point! A giant ball of yellow chenille yarn and two smaller skeins of soft yarns. I don't think they are full skeins, but very little was used of either. They are lovely colors!

Craft books - 1/2 point each. Tons of paper projects in these!

Choose 4 for 1 claim! Bargain basement prices! Cheesy

Fabric -- I have not measured this fabric exactly. They are all at least half a yard, possible a little bit bigger. (Fabrics 6 & 7 are now also sold!)

This fabric is a somewhat stretchy cotton that is 16" wide and about 4 and a half feet long -- a weird cut, but the print is super cute! Great for baby stuff.

Hair pins! Choose from orange marbles, gold buttons or french fries. I set for 1/4 point.

For your altered art/paper needs. Acrylic album, art parts kit, small book with "girlfriend" papers inside that you can alter.

Chipboard flowers -- can combine these to make a book. (You get all the chipboard flower.). Grow book kit -- to make a cute book for someone expecting a little girl. Sold!

Chipboard forest critters -- all for 1/4 claim.

Embellishments! All for 1/4 claim. Chipboard cool people, black felt bug border, blue flowers.

Stamps -- most of these are used, but in good shape. Pick 4 for 1/4 claim.

I live in a small "city" (it's really a town, but they call it a city now because of the population -- but it feels nice and small!) Our location is really central to so many things that I am now realizing I totally take for granted. We're in Mass, and I can be in NH in 8 minutes, and can get to Maine in 20. I can also get to Boston in 40 minutes, depending on traffic. So there are a lot of stores around us. My favorite store in the entire world is called Absolutely Everything (you can find them online) and they are about 25 minutes from where we live -- it's the best mixed media store ever! (Super sweet lady who owns it too.) We have JoAnn's in the next town, and Michael's just opened up there too.

Kind of a funny story -- I used to have to drive about half an hour to get to the nearest Michael's, but over the summer they started building one in the town over from us. My husband joked that they would open it on my birthday... and it opened on the day before my birthday. And on my actual birthday, we went over there in the middle of a huge rainstorm. When we came out, this was the view:

Ha!

I claim A2K for the teacup wallet, e-reader kit and fabric #2. (Does that work correctly for one claim?)

38  Boo Shrine in Halloween Decor and Parties by SonjaBoo on: October 15, 2014 05:38:31 PM
I made this shrine for my partner in the Vintage Halloween swap -- in a former life, it was a cigar box. I painted the edges black and sealed them, and left the brassy finishings on.

Here's the front. Boo. I love these papers together, and have been searching for a place to use these glittery letters. The pumpkin is from a new sheet of ephemera/stickers that I fell in love with after I promised myself I wouldn't buy any more Halloween stuff. Oops.

The back - more polka dotted happy paper, a black cat image and some fun sticker border stuff.

The inside -- I have had this skeleton paper for a while, and it's been looking for the right place to haunt. I cut the sheet into two parts so that it would take up both of the inside panels. Then I wanted it to have a spooky/vintage/sweet feel, so I added some gray/purple flowers, a vintage skeleton key (get it?), some little potion bottles, a lizard and some bats, and some mini mirrors for the heck of it.

I was really pleased with how it turned out, and it was seriously fun to put together!

Thanks for looking! Happy Halloween!  Grin

39  Vintage Style Haunted House in Halloween Decor and Parties by SonjaBoo on: October 15, 2014 05:23:19 PM
I made this vintage style haunted house for my partner in the Vintage Halloween Swap. I have had this kit in my stash for a little while, and have been waiting for the perfect project. (The kit shows it as a little cottage or Christmas church -- the makers didn't realize that it's obviously supposed to be a haunted house. I mean, duh. Cheesy)

Please pardon my super rad cubicle photos.

A close up of the little owl who lives upstairs:

And a vintage photo look for a vintage house. I made the pumpkin from paper clay, and the trees are bottle brush trees. I sent along a little faux flickering candle so the house can light up at night. Grin

This was a super fun project for a super fun swap, with a super awesome partner!
Thanks for looking!

I received an AMAZING package from stitchzBstitchz -- I am totally in the Halloween mood now! Grin We agreed to do two mediums, since we couldn't contain ourselves to one.

First, a look at all the awesomeness! stitchzBstitchz made (and drew) a beautiful canvas, a super-cool shrine and sent along some extra goodies. Grin

A close-up of the canvas -- not every witch lives in Salem! Ha! This is awesome -- I live about half an hour from Salem, so this is extra funny around here.

And close ups of the shrine -- I love this so much! There are so many fun details -- and the lady who lives inside is super creepy! Grin

Thank you so much for swapping with me stitchzBstitchz! I absolutely love everything and had a great time. Grin
