That's really cute! Nice job.
I don't know how to tarnish copper, but the egg yolk thing some one else described works for sure on silver.

Where did you get those silver hoopy-things, if you don't mind me asking...

Thanks guys!  Grin
roxy- I am keeping these particular ones, but will be listing some on etsy when I get more supplies

kristen- I've been buying chain at thunderbirdsupply.com. The more you buy, the lower the price per foot.  Smiley The ice cream cone is a charm I got from artchixstudio.com, they have some interesting charms there. Also try sacredkitschstudio.com for charm-type things...I think that's actually where I got the other pendant.
8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / A couple of necklaces.... on: June 22, 2006 04:48:43 PM
Here are some necklaces I've made recently. I've made lots of stuff lately, but I wear these most often.
First is a tooth-shaped pendant I thought was really cool. It's agate, I believe. I oxidized some silver chain/wire and put 3 glass beads on one side. I am trying to get over my problem with assymetry by using it as much as possible!

This one was kind of an experiment with resin. I had these pendant things with a space in the middle for a picture or whatever. I've had them forever because I couldn't decide what to put in. Finally I decided it would be neat if I collected a bunch of tiny leaves and flowers from my yard and put different things in each one. I've only done this one so far. The background is just something I cut out of an old book. I glued the stuff to the base and poured a tiny bit of resin on top. It's really simple and goes with everything...usually I wear it with this ice cream cone necklace, because I like ice cream!

Thanks for looking  Cheesy

That is really neat. I just got a ton of free seed beads in black and dark blue, I think I will have to try one of those!
And thanks for the explanation, I haven't used those cone things before.
