Hi all,

I've been procrastinating about getting my etsy shop up for a while "when I have a banner..." "when I have *x amount* of stock..." you get the idea. I've finally knocked one of the excuses out of the way - what does everyone think of my banner? Any advice?

*edit: flickr seems to screw up the bottom half - go to http://static.flickr.com/67/195225022_f19987932c_o.jpg to see the banner in all it's original glory.

2  The Masked Avenger in the land of Oz in Costumes: Completed Projects by pocketlint on: July 21, 2006 06:41:25 PM
I've been busy with a bunch of random crafting recently, most of which I can't show off until it's sent to my crafting partner and she's received it (nope, no spoilers to be found here!). What I can share with you, however, is my recent costume creations. I wasn't sure where to put this topic, if I'm in the wrong spot then I'm sorry and feel free to move me

I had to attend a 'Red Carpet' affair where everyone dressed as a movie character. I went as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and while I don't have a picture of the whole costume, I do have to share the shoes with you.

They took TWENTY METRES of red sequins! That's a lot of red sequins.

This weekend will be spent celebrating my cousin's 18th birthday with a masquerade ball. I made a mask for the event that I am quite proud of.

Isn't it lovely?

...and because I'm an excitable little monkey this evening, here is a poor scan of the supplies I sent pinkstars69 (who has received AND started crafting... I'd better get going!!)

Crafting supplies I sent off to be crafted into wonderous things by pinkstars69. From left to right - 1/2 of a blue knee length cord skirt, many pieces of this blue stripey/dotty fabric and a ziplock bag of buttons/beads/assorted junk.

I recieved my crafting supplies from pinkstars69 today and I scanned them to share with you all.....

Fabric supplies sent by pinkstars69 to be crafted by moi.

Clockwise from top left we have: lilac satin lining, salmon fabric with blue/white/yellow flowers, blue satin lining, 'paradise' fabric printed with birds and butterflies and the most awesome retro green floral fabric.

Pinkstars69 also sent these cute fabric cut-outs.

I've got a bunch of ideas for these and I'll be getting started on it all tomorrow.. Woo!

(and on a side note: pinkstars69 I scanned my stuff before I sent to you, so if you want me to post that too just let me know.)
