I know at least 5 of them will become "Empty Child" costumes, but I have no clue what to do with the rest.

The first pair are absolutely gorgeous.  How heavy are they?  I'd be afraid they'd tear my ear.

I LOVE the owl!  My grandmother collected owls, so I have a soft spot for them.  Also, the colors are beautiful.  Great work.

probably a long shot, but does anyone know of that thrift store around 10th and lehigh? i went there 2 summers ago and i can't remember exactly where it is. its in da hood, and i'm not trying to bike around there if i don't know where i'm going.

If you mean the Village Thrift Store just east of Germantown on Lehigh, it's not there anymore.

I have a computer chair which has been well used by my family, and while sound, has seen better days.
(please ignore the mess, my house is in a constant state of flux)
I don't have any working photos, but I recovered the chair in a purple/blue fabric I've had for years.  It's sort of a mix between umbrella fabric and lining, kinda silky but it feels water repellent.  Anyway, I love the results.  Although, I'd like to take metallic gold and silver pens to it and add celestial patterns at some point.

This is my first Fiber Friday post.  I wanted to crochet shoe laces for my daughter's sneakers.  I had this weird vintage polystyrene yarn/fiber, but wasn't able to crochet with it the way it was, so I spun it, then plied it with black poly/cotton thread.
