I'm more known for my button rings (which I wear every single day and have a huge collection of)... so I had to make myself a button ring with my awesome puppy's photo, as well. I removed the hoop from the cameo setting and filed it down, then glued it to a pink polka dot button. I added two heart buttons and an adjustable ring and VOILA! SUPER CUTE PUPPY RING AWESOMENESS! (Betty got her middle name because of my obsession with making button rings)





I am going to wear the heck out of that, I swear. 

I also made some other button rings (or brooches... haven't attached them, yet).

First up is a necklace featuring this really cute sewing machine charm. I love these little sewing machines! I only have one left... I should have bought a bunch more. I like long necklaces, and I think it adds to the kitchy-ness of this necklace.








I want to keep it for myself! Haha.

Second, I made this necklace for myself using a really cute heart charm I found on Etsy. I love how it looks vintage. Michael's had all of their beads at 50% off so I stocked up on some really sparkly ones.





I'm quite happy with them. 

I've been trying my hand at some different styles of jewelry, lately. I usually do bright and colorful stuff and for a while, I was pretty much sticking to making my button rings. But now that I have a bazillion of those made up, I figured I better add something new. 

I bought some really cute antique looking charms recently and I wanted to use some of them. I'm also experimenting with mixing different metal finishes.

This first pair features these really cute heart charms that I fell in love with. I'm debating over whether or not I should keep them for myself. My boyfriend says that the quote is "really cheesey"... haha.



These next two pairs are craft themed. I used little silver scissor charms, button charms, and thimble charms. I know us crafty girls like to let everybody know that we're crafty. 







And lastly, this pair is more along the lines of what I typically make. I use lots and lots of hot pink.  I found the pink striped paper on the picture used for display in a frame I bought at Target around Valentine's Day. Recycled!

So, anybody who knows me knows that I love my Bulldog puppy, Betty Buttons, as if she were my own child. She's pretty much all I talk about, and I'm sure it's quite annoying.  When I bought these cameo blanks, I knew I was going to have to make me some Betty charms. So last night I did just that. I picked out one of my favorite pictures of her and printed out little tiny versions of it and made these adorable cameos! It was so simple!

I experimented with mixing metal finishes and I really like how they turned out. I especially like the little button charms I picked up on Etsy. They were perfect for these since Buttons is her middle name! 





Ignore those nasty air bubbles. They're driving me nuts, but I'm just going to have to live with it, haha.

That was a photo from September when she was about 9 weeks old. She's 8 months old, now. I'm going to have to make some more with some recent photos, as she's changed quite a bit, as you can kind of see in this blurry webcam photo.

Also... Ms. Buttons just peed on my sheets as I was writing this up, so I'm slightly mad at her right now, but I can't stay mad at that cute, wrinkly face for very long. Ugh!

Wow, such a difference with the first dress! It looked so frumpy before, and so gorgeous after!

I love your style. I'm quite jealous. I've always wanted to be the kind of girl who looked good in skirts, but I just don't think I am. I don't even own one.

Thank you so much for the tutorials! I became obsessed with ear cuffs when I bought my first pair on Etsy about 3 months ago. They are just basic hammered sterling silver cuffs, and I wear them every day. I was eyeballing another pair of wire ear cuffs and my boyfriend got them for me for Christmas (which I got to open yesterday because I begged, haha). I bought some wire a few weeks ago wanting to try and make my own... and I failed miserabley! This is going to help me out so much! 

Poor Toby!  Your story made me cry, that is so sad. I've got 3 elderly Basset Hounds and Toby resembles them quite a bit. A huge pet peeve of mine is when people are on their cellphones while driving.

This was such a very sweet thing you made for your Mom.

Eeek! I HATE spiders, especially Black Widows which we always had a problem with in our garage. My boyfriend loves them, however... and even had a pet Black Widow that he named Nancy Grace. 

But this is still totally cool!
