my best friend's birthday is coming up, and i'm making a frisbee clock (he is an ultimate frisbee fiend  Grin). I'm gonna drill a hole in the middle of the frisbee, then put the guts through the hole. do i need to get a clock works kit, or can i just get a cheapy clock at the dollar store, and use the guts from that?

Okay, so I found this post about this really adorable journal a girl made. The journal was yellow with a pink flower that she sewed on. The post alsp had a tutorial in it. Of course, silly little me forgot to bookmark it. Does anyone know what i am talking about, and if so, do you know where I could find it?

6  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Pineapple skirt pattern? on: January 14, 2006 08:10:49 PM
Does anyone know of a pattern for a skirt using the pineapple stitch, BESIDES the one @ groovy crochet. I'm not real crazy about that one.
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / ugly paneling, can't paint..I'm baffled (hehe i love that word. Baffled...ha...) on: December 29, 2005 07:28:41 PM
My bedroom isn't really a whole room. It's about 2/3 of what used to be our family room, but separated by 3 bookshelves and a bead curtain. The wall opposite the shelves and curtain is covered in this nasty 70's paneling that is supposed to look like rock. i think. We painted it white, but my parents don't want me to paint my room because, well, it's not a whole room, and we'll be taking down the shelves in a year or so. So the jist of my ranting is, does anyone have ideas of how to cover/decorate a wall in a sweet funky way w/out painting it?
