I love them all, especially the cheeky monkey. And that cute little nest is 3D, it's beautifully painted wood.

I've bought the yarn for these, but haven't cast on yet. These are the colours I'm using:


I just started Knitty's Coronet for myself, I think I'll finish that first. It's -39C outside today, so I need a hat more than I need fingerless mitts. Also, I don't have needles the right size, and NO WAY am I going outside if I don't have to.

EDITED: because it always takes me two tries to get the pictures right. So forgetful.

I made my first Christmas ornament of the year today! I'm feeling very seasonal now, but I'm not sure what to do next!



The design is from the holiday Martha mag. She used vintage Christmas cards, but as all I had lying around to cut up was an old pack of cards, I used that.
